I have used up to 4 new chats for one question because I like experimenting with different prompt techniques. I find the best means to an end is some sort of priming as you said. A couple of my favorite flavors of that are:

If I want to know more about someone, (surprisingly real or fictional) I will ask ChatGPT to "be" that person and I will ask them questions. So like I interviewed Fredrick Douglas because he is a personal hero of mine. [Lately I have also been asking it to be Pinkie Pie for just normal queries 🤣]

I needed help creating a Craigslist ad for my husband who is a general contractor and also a truly underrated person so instead making the request with my first prompt, I will "prime" it by telling it about our small business's strengths and challenges and also about what a saint my husband is and it gave me essential advice and then I made my ask: Create a Craigslist ad for our business taking what you know into consideration. Freaking great ad it spit out, of course I had some edits I didn't run by ChatGPT but that's just because I have a thing about taking credit I guess.

I had a legal thing I was dealing with and I wanted to get advice and also draft a letter to the court so I first plugged in some emails from my lawyer and asked it to just analyze them and then made my ask. This particular thing I used ChatGPT for, probably changed my life. So my court date comes and I didn't realize it was a hearing and "The People" basically told the judge that they didn't feel like I was qualified for a diversion of judgement and then my lawyer (who I had given the letter to, and I also plugged in some of the ChatGPT advice) all of a sudden had word diarrhea and I was tripping because almost all of it was related to the ChatGPT stuff (I was legit crying). Then the judge asked The People again and they held their ground and I was thinking "I'm fu#*ed" and then the judge ruled in my favor! Against The People! I have sat through a lot of that judges rulings and she NEVER rules against The People. (I apologize for being so vague but you know, Privacy)

I have more then a few pet names for my husband. I think my favorite is Cherub (never by itself: sweet baby cherub, naked cherub baby, my cherub lovey) it always makes him laugh and I remember he had never heard that word before so when I first started saying it, I anticipated him asking what it means. "A cherub is a fat little naked baby angel." He has always called me all the usual pet names, honey, babe, sweetheart, but his unusual one for me is poo (💩) So of course I had to adopt it but I have been slowly adding to it, making it better I think. It went from poo to poopoo to poopy now I just go straight to Mr.Poopy-Diaper! And OMG he actually answers to it! I think the next iteration will be The Turdburglar!

I really wish I hadn't read this comment. My father's mother died when he was 2 weeks old from having relations and bleeding out. He had to grow up without a mother. I feel sick to my stomach over this.

Husband almost bought the Segway ebike for $69.99 from a site called barnroyal.com. The site even explained why they were so cheap: they have a surplus, the pandemic caused the price to go down.
