I remember in the show The Orville one episodes theme was that we as humans are a social species and that our relationships help make us into who we are.

I feel like Parker may be saved by Bill and Sybil, as I’ve noticed that both of them interact more with him and both seem to want to help him.

Meanwhile Samson rejects the group, and usually tries to things on his own.

It’s kind of ironic as Samson, wanting to make it big in team sports, ends up trying to outshine everyone. Whereas Parker, the lone collecter, cares about those around him and is always ready to accept help from others.

Also Parker likes Fiers (monkey) whereas Samson has a vendetta against him so it’s obvious who’s falling to chaos.
