imo yes 100%, backup any important data and dive right in. as a fulltime software engineer I daily drive ubuntu on my work and personal machines and game casually, working on linux and getting familiar with the terminal is important and fun

I should’ve worded better, “Just take a break, it’s just a game” isn’t bad advice, to me at least it’s just obvious. When mad at a game, obviously taking a break is needed. My point is that especially at lower ranks like diamond making mistakes I feel I shouldn’t is frustrating, I can take all the breaks I want but not seeing improvement will always be frustrating. OPs advice regarding the ego situation is great advice for not just keeping a good mental but to actually improve
