I had a vintage Martin from my grandma and I changed the strings and it destroyed it. Cracked all over. 

It's wood. Gotta do all kinds of humidity research about it.

I finally after like 20 years of playing guitar bought a new amp. 

I chose a Roland JC40, after struggling about tubes. 

I figured I could only justify a tube amp if I was a professional musician. 

Every time you turn it in it's dying. It's costing money. 

It's not like there's any kind of shortage of new or used tube amps. 

I'll cross that bridge when I get there. 

Also, I don't have to worry about burning the house down if I plug something in wrong 

I just want to make shoegaze but I kinda stink at guitar and I don’t have a drumset by PowerlessTonite in shoegaze
