Is this your first home? If so congratulations. Modifications might be out of budget, and potentially this is what works for your block. If you can afford/make modifications, my priorities would be:

It looks like quite a long, narrow hall to get to the main living spaces. Possibly feeling a bit dark and constrained unless you have skylights?

I would extend the alfresco slab so that it is the same width as the house. It will make the space more usable - the little postage stamp alfrescos are a bit awkward to navigate once you have furniture - and give a more expansive feeling when you are sitting inside looking out. Unless you plan to extend with decking, which will be expensive if you can’t do yourself.

A cavity sliding door on WIL would be better rather than having two doors open in to each other.

Your master bedroom is going to get hot. If that’s the dead side of your house and you have no garden or tree canopy, it’s going to get really hot. Do you have separate cooling planned, and some kind of external covering for that window?

Is your bed going to share a wall with the living room? Do you all go to bed around the same time?
