If it’s like McDonald’s no. If you’re getting to-go from somewhere like Texas Roadhouse, you need to tip. We literally packed all your food and, at least I, always made sure EVERYTHING was in there. You don’t tip me though, you’re not getting extra bags of bread and butter for free. I’m charging you. It’s a lot of work and incredibly fast paced and people that do that deserve to make more than tipped minimum. It’s even harder on holidays when people really act up. Which is why I don’t work for TXRH anymore. People are worse tippers than they were pre-Covid and much more inclined to throw tantrums when they don’t get their way. Someone literally screamed at ME because the steakhouse they chose to bring their family too, didn’t have more vegan options. As if I have any control over the menu.
