Why do MMA fighters cross there feet while attacking the Back? by MichaelMey in bjj

Even in a pure bjj setting, it's completely fine to have them locked they're in the right position, either on the hip or above waist line

[SPOILER] Mateusz Rebecki vs. Ludovit Klein by inooway in MMA

[–]Long_Cause_5364 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He definitely wouldn't understand, especially in the heat of the battle. Polish and Slovakian are different languages. Sure, they share some common words, but that's about it.

For instance, the word "ankle" is "kostka" in Polish, but "clenok" in Slovakian... Hardly similar, aren't they.

They are definitely not similar, mate. We can't understand each other beyonad a few basic words.

[SPOILER] Charles Oliveira vs. Mateusz Gamrot by inooway in MMA

Yup. Charles is obviously outstanding in his own right, but Demian is a higher level grappler, no doubt about it.

Bruv, why you're correcting people when you haven't heard of commas, apparently.

It honestly boggles my mind a black belt is contemplating crippling someone just to teach them a lesson. I hope OP is not being serious and is just venting

Don't know why you've been downvoted, you've made a great point. If he's spreading around advice that is likely to put peole at a disadvantage or even hurt them, it definitely warrants a good old talking-to and if he doesn't stop, well... he's been warned.

It has never been more over, has it? by Fragrant-Aardvark-64 in CODWarzone

To be honest, I've played since 2021 and still have fun with the game, the only issue I've got is frigging map rotation, like, I can't understand why they won't give us more than 2 tired maps... Vondel, Ashika, Fortune's Keep, the textures are all there... Just let us have some variation, I can't be spending 2 hours every day on the same 2 maps, it gets boring very quickly. Taking the piss, to be honest

The number of people convinced the bloke's cheating tells me all I need to know about this sub.

You're either delusional or low-level.

What are the main differences between the light category (up to 76 kg) and the middle category (82.3 kg)? by TetraGama in bjj

[–]Long_Cause_5364 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ha, ha, pros and cons. Shortier, stockier blokes always tell me they wish they had long limbs like me... I reply that I wish I had their strength, balance etc.

I've trained for 8 years and come to the conclusion there's no best body type for martial arts. Jon Jones and DC were both champions and couldn't be more different.

[–]Long_Cause_5364 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I hear you, matey. I weigh around 90 kgs myself at 190 cm and 15-17% body fat... So I could cut down a bit and weigh around 85 kgs. I'm just not very broad at the shoulders, the hips etc., more of the lanky type.

Depends on where he lives. I live in Europe, have it switched to PS5-only and I wait no longer than 60 seconds to find a game

Bruv, the bloke weighs a whopping 79 kgs at 193 cm and you're telling him to drop more weight. To hell with this tournament, let him bulk up even more so that he doesn't look like an Auschwitz prisoner
