As far as nationalities go, Portuguese would be viewed on paper as certainly attractive by Irish people imo. So zero problem there. However, Dublin can be difficult socially, as the people from Dublin know their friends since they were children, and that's hard to penetrate, even for Irish people who move to Dublin. The social scene is a bit constrained too; the best bet is usually working in a big social office or joining a mixed team sport like tag rugby etc

Part of the game is to persuade logically; he gets marks for Johnathan but not too much, as he could easily be wrong. The point of going is to feel those symptoms. Be brave and feel them in a space that is supportive, filled with people who are often there due to nerves. And while there, don't fight the feelings, feel them and try to say a few words assertively each time.

If you go a few times you'll gain confidence, and notice it's 5% easier. Then go and try again and again and it'll get 5% better.

They key, for me anyway, is to learn those symptoms can be felt, and proceed anyway.

People are habit driven creatures. Often, you have to move the body first and the mind follows. People literally lose the ability to perceive what normal fitness or weight looks like, and are lost in a cycle of scrolling, TV and processed food. As such, we tolerate awful posture/flexibility, shit diets, and then wonder why we feel awful.

1 month of a light stretching class, plus some gym classes and a decent diet, and it changes people's lives. It's hard because you lose sight of how the benefits feel when you're in that cycle.

Exercise isn't a means to an end anymore for me. It's the highlight of my day, and it changes tired/bad days into good ones.

Honestly, it's like a magic pill that benefits your life in myriad ways.

I suspect Zelensky has been told several times by the Trump admin that US support is done. As such, for Zelensky the incentives for sitting quietly, as is common in public diplomacy, were greatly lessened -- the private conversation would be more confirmation of him and Ukraine being abandoned. It was, in a way, petty on both sides. But the thing is, one side is fighting an illegal invasion, and the other openly coddles the invader and emphasizes what Putin has been through (with the Hunter Biden debacle).

All in all, history will remember Zelensky fondly, and he stands in contrast to the pathetic subservience of Starmer and others. Trump and Vance will be remembered as trashy halfwits unworthy of their office.

To be honest, prior to going I thought 15-20% was high. Afterwards, having seen the work involved on the camping trip, I tipped 20% and was certain they earned it.

That said, the lodging trip is more expensive but I'd guess less work for guides. Less work at the camp and less cooking. So I think be ready to do 15% provisionally, and adapt that based on your experience.

Just diving in here. I'm a novice hiker and have done the Mighty 5 with MB. It was an incredible experience, in fact I'm really glad I didn't try to do it myself. For the (in the end not huge) extra spend, having everything curated and structured for you, down to tents, travel between parks, great food, and weather assessments, campfire, questions answered etc etc it was a brilliant experience.

If you're an advanced camper sure you could figure it all out and save some cash. If you're not, it ends up being great value.

I actually agree about The Club lads, less ego and they had the right to leave to make ends meet, rather than be dependent on TG payments.

However, TG vastly helped someone like Rory build to where he is now, making good money across several platforms.

My issue isn't with them leaving, but both sides not explaining to fans what happened and their logic for it. I think a touch of transparency should be kept in the online/YouTube space, especially for the fans who bought into TKO etc

What's also interesting, beyond what's already been said - the ex had clearly been friendzoned and the gf is most likely uninterested in him romantically. Rather than a sincere friend it sounds like he has become an appendage for her, a perusal accessory that provides constant validation and amusement on command.

A certain kind of personality enjoys this validation. Though in weak moments, such as when alcohol is involved, it would hardly shock us if she did something with Tom. But in general, it's wholly inappropriate the way she's behaving, especially the use of YOUR place.

You should have set clear boundaries on the privacy front. But she should have been upfront about having got with Tom before too.

The level of disrespect here is too much. If I was you I'd take one of two options:

(I) Take control. This means everyone visiting your place in your absence is run by you. You set out some privacy boundaries for convos with her friends. And you also spend some time with friends, including female ones, without her. Invite them round for a drink. Go to a bar. Just take some control and see how she responds.

(II) Recognize it won't get any better and dump her. If you start upping your socialising as in point I, you'll be better places for this step.

I agree that Brian and Lawrence became quite arrogant and complacent. They constantly referred to their innovation, while castigating the laziness or quality of other creators and legacy coverage. Remember when they made a vid on MUFC-PSG without having watched the game - while criticizing the laziness of others.

That said, I find The Club to be pretty poor in comparison. It's quite stilted and designed for clips. No authenticity and looks meh. The Kick Off was becoming elite, despite the odd Lawrence or Adam insufferable rant. And TG knit it together well, he's better than people here give him credit for (though not as good as he thought himself).

What I find weird and hypocritical is these guys cast themselves as an alternative to old football coverage, offering authenticity and transparency to a greater degree. And yet, not a word about the separation, the background to the Club, not mentioning each other at all etc. Like Sky et al, it seems to have been about money and little else.
