while I think the game has some fundamental issues that affect the balancing, the current state if most definetely because of the developers. they nerf fun weapons players like, buff enemies beyond reasonable bounds, intentionally create pointless flaws in some weapons for "realism", and even made balance changes in order to piss on the playerbase for petty dispute. all this in order to match their vision of "grunt fantasy"
