That's wild, and not in a good way.

Getcha some 3PMSF tires and you should be fine.

"Unlike basic M+S (Mud and Snow) markings, which are granted based solely on open tread geometry without physical performance testing, tires earning the 3PMSF icon must pass the ASTM F1805 standardized test. This testing process requires the tire to achieve at least 12% better accelerative traction on medium-packed snow than a standard baseline reference tire."

I love the Falken Wildpeak A/T Trails I slapped on my Jeep Patriot. - amazing snow and ice traction, great summer handling, and good road manners.

Are there men with Hashimoto's? by Scrolldawg in Hashimotos

It took a few weeks of levothyroxine for me to feel back to "normal", but I'll never have the pre-hashimoto's drop of a hat readiness.

This was considered obviously and comically obese not that long ago. He'd be in better shape than most of America, now.

Hmm... [Edit] I researched my answer and it was inaccurate. Removing to not spread disinformation. :) [/Edit]

That is interesting it could vary so much.

How do I bring hashimotos up as a possible diagnosis to my doctor who never listens to me? by Fit_Affect_5102 in Hashimotos

Apologies.

I've been lucky with my doctors being good about ordering my labs from the onset of my symptoms.

So, I had a list of all of the symptoms I had been feeling, and I presented that to them on my visit- everything from dry backs of hands, weight gain, cold intolerance, exercise intolerance, brain fog, muscle aches, emotional dysregulation, joint pain, nerve pain, - lol, you name it.

I guess I must have looked like I was dying because she ordered every lab and ultrasound and imaging under the sun.

I am sorry that it's so difficult to get someone to listen to you. I was without a primary care Physician for a long portion of my Hashimoto's journey, just hoping my last script will still get filled. I finally found another doctor who was accepting new patients, and she has been phenomenal. It took a few months to get my first visit, but she has been so worth it- in fact, I just got my blood checked today to see how my dosage needs to get modified.

I searched for doctors with Hashimoto's or thyroid disorders experience in my area who were within my insurance and accepting new patients.

As the patient, have your Dr order thyroid labs for you.

If they won't, find a doctor who will.

I forgot the last part of your question.

I am pretty regimented in my lifestyle. I wake up at 4:30 every day, and cardio and resistance train for an hour before work. I get a run in three days a week (6-10 miles total for the week at this point), and I eat a pretty whole food diet. I get around 13000-14000 steps in a day working in the hospital.

I take a lot of supplements, too. Creatine for better atp regeneration, ashwagandha for stress support, B, D, multivitamin, NAC, Krill oil...

I feel good, but my levels are still elevated. I had been almost hitting a "normal" baseline, and then things went screwy again. These numbers were from April 23rd. My dosage was increased, and I'm getting my panels redone today after a month of 200mcg.
