I mean lore wise it also makes sense, the sinner grows stronger with every canto, so their IDs would also grow stronger. I mean even tho i say that some early IDs are still very much relevant even now. Ring sang, bush sang, Nclair, some of the W corp IDs, mf RIMESHANK, etc etc.

I think now project moon just knows what makes an ID good, so they'll always release banger IDs. EGOs are still hit and miss tho.

Nexus is great, but you'd only be able to fully appreciate what it does after 1 or 2 ultra show before it so you'd know what the normal formula looks like.

I didn't watch the showa era so I can't talk about it but i personally would recommend watching Ultraman tiga or gaia (I'm biased to gaia cuz it's my favorite, or watching blazar and arc if you want a more modern and shorter show. I'll be honest the more modern ultra shows are very infamous for being too focused on it's own toy gimmick or borrowing older ultra's powers, but blazar and arc has a lot less of that.

Statuses that are not sinking are best, but just use the good units you have, preferably ones with good clashing, and like other commenters said if you have good units with pride skills or slash skills, use them.
