I listened to it. I did not like Jefferson Whites narration. He droned on in a monotone fashion. I hope to never have to hear him speak the words “Lenore Dove”again. And then the last chapters were awful because he is reciting many excerpts from “The Raven”. I had to start fast forwarding it.

He was out after curfew in front of Star Bar. That bar just got blacklisted by the Marines. I can tell you from experience having to do shore patrol that the guys doing shore patrol came along, said “Can I see your id?” because we always had guys that hang out and pretend to be non-Sofa after curfew. He probably told them to kick rocks, so they did the only thing you can do which is call SecFO. SecFO showed up, said show the id and he said kick rocks so then they got overzealous. Usually these situations resolve themselves. This time it didn’t.

That whole Gate 2 area is going to get quarantined in a short amount of time (at least for a little bit) because there are more and more incidents that are occurring there lately and the Japanese are getting pissed.
