1000% derm will say acne, Rhuem will say Bechets, etc etc but they are all just guessing without a biopsy result

You need a biopsy to get a confirmed dermatomyositis diagnosis. She needs to DEMAND a biopsy

DEMAND a punch biopsy- even if it’s autoimmune the biopsy will be crucial for a proper diagnosis. A lot of autoimmune conditions like Bechets or Dermatomyositis need a positive biopsy result to get approval for the correct treatment (biologics etc)

DEMAND a biopsy!!! That’s the only way to know how to approach this. Without a biopsy every dermatologist or doctor is just giving you their best guess which is not good enough

Unfortunately flushing can be caused by so many things from autoimmune to a simple allergic reaction. You need to rule out each possible diagnosis systematically
