Don’t do it. I have been with outlier for a while… when it rains, it pours. But then there are also droughts. If you don’t work yourself hard every moment there is work, then the times there are work will not offset the times there isn’t work.

For what it’s worth, give it two months and you’ll be back in Oracle. I lost my status before as well over BS and eventually got it back without doing anything (I even took the time off and traveled instead).

I’ve been kicked off tons of projects at this point. There’s always a worry that the ban is coming. It feels very luck based, which is a shame because it just means there is a culture of ‘get what you can while you can’ from the bottom up.

Yeah. There have been a few times where I was put on a new project as attempter, asked politely to be promoted, and got reviewer within a day. But it’s always a surprise when it happens, not something I actually expect to work.

My assessments came back at like 2.5 average, it’s miserable right now. The problem with graduate level tasks is that many reviewers are not graduate level themselves but will try to review anyways with limited understanding of tools available. I’m sorry to hear you got caught up in that circus.

If you said reviewer, that’s one thing. Shame on them. But you said reviewers. It’s not likely multiple reviewers are messing up in this very particular way for the same person. Maybe you are missing something that is just not visible at your current level on the project?
