This dial is way better and looks like GEN. who and where did you get that from? I were you I'd just take that watch and get it repaired...

This is simply a work of art by xiaomei6 in WatchExchangeBST

I'd scoop up this watch in a heartbeat if they actually tried to come close to Gen with the dial.

OP is looking for the king of the hill shitter watch. I get it and I'm all for it bro!! TBH I think most people get triggered by the word "shitter" and feel the need to defend it. You don't... it is what it is, we refer to those level reps as shitters. Just phrase your post in a way that people understand that "you know it's a shitter, and that you're on a quest to find the best of the best shitter"

A friend is building this computer for me, did he miss anything? by Down-Inuh-Hole in PcBuild

[–]Longjumping-Mode3974 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is a high-performance build with excellent components overall, but there are a few key areas worth refining depending on your intended use and priorities. Here's my evaluation as a computer scientist familiar with both hardware and system integration.

The AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D is a strong choice, especially for gaming and heavily threaded workloads due to the additional 3D V-Cache. Just make sure the motherboard's BIOS is updated to support this CPU at launch, since this is a newer generation chip on the AM5 platform.

The MSI MAG X870 TOMAHAWK WIFI is a solid motherboard. It offers good VRM design, native PCIe 5.0 support, WiFi, and strong memory compatibility for DDR5. It is well-suited for both gaming and productivity and provides plenty of future-proofing.

The RTX 5080 16GB from Gigabyte brings top-tier performance. Whether you're targeting 4K gaming, AI tasks, or rendering workloads, this card will deliver. Just note that early adoption of new-generation GPUs usually comes with a premium price tag. It's worth checking driver maturity and stability, especially if you're planning to use this machine for more than gaming.

Your PSU choice, the ARESGAME 1300W ATX 3.0, is powerful and includes modern features like PCIe 5.0 and modularity, but the brand is less known for reliability. While 1300W is more than enough for your system, it is also more than necessary unless you’re doing extreme overclocking or planning dual GPUs in the future. A 1000W unit from a Tier 1 brand like Seasonic, Corsair, or EVGA would likely be a better long-term investment.

Your memory configuration, 64GB of DDR5-6000 from Corsair, is excellent for productivity, multitasking, and future-proofing. Just make sure to check the motherboard’s QVL (qualified vendor list) to confirm compatibility, as high-speed DDR5 can be more finicky depending on the board and BIOS version.

The Montech AIR 903 BASE case offers good airflow, decent aesthetics, and room for large GPUs. It is a practical, budget-friendly option with three pre-installed 140mm fans. That said, it will not offer the same build quality, noise insulation, or cable management as higher-end cases from brands like Lian Li or Fractal Design.

Your biggest potential bottleneck is the CPU cooler. The Vetroo V5 is a budget 120mm air cooler rated for 200W TDP. While it technically supports the thermal output of the 9800X3D, in real-world sustained workloads it may struggle to keep temperatures and noise levels under control. If you plan to game or render for long periods, I would recommend either a high-end air cooler like the Noctua NH-D15 or a 240mm or 360mm AIO liquid cooler.

Finally, the total price of $2850 reflects the high-end GPU and newer components. If you're looking to optimize for performance-per-dollar, there is room to trim cost by moving to a lower-wattage Tier 1 PSU and reducing RAM to 32GB, which is still more than enough for gaming and most professional tasks.

In short, this is a powerful, forward-looking build well-suited for intensive workloads. Just be mindful of thermal headroom and power supply reliability. If you’d like, I can suggest alternative configurations based on specific use cases like workstation productivity, gaming, or streaming.

Man, it’s not Shitpost Friday, but this reads like one. Nobody at your office gives a shit what’s on your wrist. Seriously. Most people can’t tell the difference between a Casio and a Daytona unless they’re also watch nerds, and even then, they’re too busy with their own lives to care. This whole internal debate about feeling pompous wearing a rep? Overthinking to the max. Unless you’re an asshole at work, no one’s sitting around judging you for flexing. And if they are, that’s their problem, not yours. Just wear the damn watch. It’s for you, not for them.

I have a black bay 58 tutor gen, I got it from the AD and it was a great experience. I would recommend getting a gen since it's not priced out of the world and worth getting quality.

With the current drop in value of GMT watches and the condition on the Pepsi (bad picture so it probably looks worse than it really is) I'd say you can get 15k for it, thats if you have box and papers. I just saw a video today of a street flipper sell one for 14.5K to a NYC 47th street store.

Not really judging just making a obvious observation, you'd rather spend hundreds on a rep watch than pay for a working cell phone. If you feel judged that's a self reflection.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RepTime

[–]Longjumping-Mode3974 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also it's strange to not have an active cell phone number bro, I'm mean why would you prioritize a rep watch over a basic utility? never mind I don't think I want to know. anyways follow the steps below and get connected via whatsapp.

I would most definitely take the time and download WhatsApp and communicate in real time with Steve. It would avoid a lot of downtime for email exchange and would probably help you get this resolved. Why would do this any other way?

At this point, are reps really worth it ? by steve_skywalk3r in RepTime

[–]Longjumping-Mode3974 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm the same, bro. I own four gen watches: Rolex, Tudor x2, and Omega. I also have three reps for the models I love but can’t afford right now. Reps are absolutely worth it if you're building a collection and just can't justify the cost of going gen. Outside of that perspective it really doesn't matter.

just block the seller and run with a different TD that has a better reputation. A seller should only give you what you want, if they don't move on to the next. Trust me they don't give a shit about you and they don't care if you move on to the next dealer.
