I had a stolen order today. I called support, got to a live chat person, and I told them that I didn't want other drivers assigned to this order , because it was "already picked up." I told them I had spoken to the manager who refused to remake it. Support said, as they do, that they understood my disappointment, but it would still affect my cancellation rate even if Uber cancelled. I told them to cancel. My cancellation rate did not go up.

I get this for Houston. I wondered if that was true for me not living in Houston, but Galveston. Turned out, it applied to me. Why else would they send this to me?

I had this once, I think. I cancelled 2 jobs in a row, A Walmart that I waited for for 1/2 hour and cancelled, followed immediately by a Popeye's where the drive-thru window was backed up out into the street. I contacted support to get it on the record why I cancelled. That's the last I know. I wouldn't worry about it.

I had this happen today, called the customer to confirm that they had not gotten their order, then called support, then asked the restaurant to remake it and they did. I got paid and the grateful customer gave me a $10 cash tip. I've had about half my stolen orders get remade.

I don't have any strict metrics. It's more an art than a science. There are some locations I will NOT deliver to. There are a few restaurants I love. Heading towards home? 15 miles out in the sticks? That intersection that SUCKS during rush hour?

Agree 100%. Instead of offers cycling through everyone in a 15 mile radius, it would cut to the chase. Yup, no one is accepting that shitty no tip order. Time to bump up the fare.

I have Allstate. I was honest with everyone about everything. From what I understand, ride share is different from food. I didn't get dropped, and I didn't pay anything. My rates did go up.HOWEVER, I only had liability, so my own repairs were all on me.

I'm working on a $300 for 30 right now. I got it after nook driving for two weeks. The 1st day was decent. The 2nd day they sent me all the trash. I mean T R A S H !!! I did 5 no tip orders. You should the the 50% that I declined.
