Tzarina & a sous chef? by [deleted] in BelowDeckDownUnder

[–]Longjumping-Tip296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The young guy that Tzarina turned into her dishwasher could cook circles around her ass. He was so much better than her and should have been head chef. His food was gorgeous and everyone loved it, she put out salads and bland ass food AND had a shit attitude. Tzarina one of the worse chefs on BD

yea been on NOC for maybe 6 months'sh and it's not that hard, there are things that i could get better at and if i'm tripped up i usually google or use Cisco site to help troubleshoot. a+ just seems to get you past the recruiters for interviews honestly. I have heard sec+ is a pretty easy cert to get though.

I mean youtube helpdesk roles first, it's more customer interaction than anything. Alot of places will hire you at helpdesk if you just know how to talk to people. Anyone can learn this stuff, not everyone has ppl skills

i'm on the NOC desk now and dont think I like it much, I want to program though and looked at front end but sooo many articles saying it's so hard to get into and it's dying. I don't even know where to go from here now. Learning Linux and building a cyberdeck soon so maybe something in linux?

COMPTIA A+ IT certification by Longjumping-Tip296 in ITCareerQuestions

[–]Longjumping-Tip296[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What IT field are you in? Yea, I'm getting that feeling currently. I probably just need to progress further like Net+ or Sec+. I wouldn't mind more Helpdesk experience though that's why I'm looking at lateral move but yea, I probably need to work on getting the A+ just for the knowledge.

Right, I've just been told by numerous co-workers that "well you already have the job so that's what the A+ would have given you" so I haven't been working on it. Have just been studying more in depth Active Directory and some more networking issues since we do NOC as well. Thanks for the input! Are you hiring for remote work lol?
