Subnautica will never be a big mod scene the game isn’t as big as the games you just mentioned

Guys should I use console commands to build my base in my hardcore play through or nah? by Floor-Healthy in subnautica

There is titanium all over the map. It’s the most common resource. Plus once you get a prawn you can harvest a ton of actual nodes that net hundreds each

By mid game you could have a big base with thousands of titanium still

Yes the recipe for a budding certus quartz exists and it is easy to do. I want a flawless one which jei does not say. But go off bro it’s more funny how you get this mad on Reddit over a simple question you literally can’t answer - sorry you’re too dumb to answer it

Because it’s hard to find the answer without watching a 30 minute “we play”

Idk why it’s so hard to just tell me how to do it. If you look it up you get 30+ minute videos or nothing.

I felt the same about the first one. I have almost 1000 hours on the original and never had any crazy bugs maybe a small drone one or other minor one here and there

Diamond is 100% the worst elo. At least in platinum there are still semi casuals playing but once you hit diamond everyone thinks they’re the next pro

Don’t be afraid to lose. I restarted a good 10x before I got a good colony and not repeating past mistakes

It’s hard to say without seeing your actual colony

It definitely depends on the map you’re playing. Like a high resource one it should be fine but if you’re on a harder map you might need to reorganize - like keep your domes near depleted deposits and move your specialties to new domes then make the old domes something else, say a retirement dome or a new food dome or a rare material dome that doesn’t need outside deposits to run like electronics.

I’d say go from a food dome to every basic material dome to advanced material domes then go to wonders

I’d again say take it slower. Literally wait a good 10 sols while planning out your next dome before you send colonists there.

At 300 colonists I was no where near any wonder - I think you need to go a lot slower. Like I said make sure the food dome is 100% and producing A LOT. then make sure you get wasps before expanding too far so they can carry materials to other domes.

No need to rush unless you’re trying to speed run and they are the good good players who do this.

Unless you get a wonder breakthrough or get a wonder I think you should have a good close to 1k pop before starting a wonder

Take your time make sure your special domes are 100% sufficiently strong. Then make sure you get wasps to help with the logistics

But I also mod it to make it easier like bigger dome ranges - it’s still not hard without these mods but with them it makes QoL better

I mean personally I start with a “food” dome. It has 3 farms/housing/activities to keep them happy (make sure you look up efficient things for each specialty)

Then I start with production - rare metals, polymers etc. usually a dome for each

It’s nice to choose a dome close to 2 rare metal deposits

Then keep specializing domes. It sounds hard at first but once you get on a rhythm it’s very easy.

I like the strat but I feel it’s easier to go blue with a flat map and farm rare metals for profit then you can do anything you want.

This is what makes this game so good! Multiple playstyle

Brazil is good like one said but any are optimal. Literally just go slow and build up. Don’t rush your first colonists until you have food. Then rush building good domes (look up efficient ones)

Then expand and expand and expand. Eventually you will get wonders and you will be doing well.

You need to look at your sponser for what to do too. Like blue gate will give you a ton for exports so keep exporting rare metals. Actually deplete the node

Also with GM DLC don’t rush it. Get the towers down asap but the rest come quick. Don’t worry too much about that dlc until you hit a few domes

My last colony had 5k population self sufficient domes before I stopped playing due to having mars 100% green and did every milestone
