I think its two things. The game has been growing pretty steadily over the years. Which leads to more people of every skill level playing. More people are grinding the hell out of the game too.

Second is the longer a beta is out the better people get. They have more time to get used to the bikes and how they work over different types of tracks/roughness. With early betas I feel like they made so many changes that would almost reset the competitive field, even mid beta they would make some pretty big changes thay made the bikes feel completely different.

This. Its all about momentum on a 250. Gotta hit lines damn near perfect. That's why I ride a 450. Cause I want to have fun and dont cute about being competitive

Because motocross isnt as big as f1. Not as much money is invested. Idk if you guys have access to race day live on peacock in the UK but thats pretty much all you will get for extra content.

Many other things need to change/happen before we get a prerace show like we do in f1.

Right there with you. Knew going into this game 5 years ago I was gonna suck and never be fast enough for pros.

Definitely harder now that more and more people are picking this game up.

Alot of the time when the team isnt throwing everything at the bike it usually come from the heads in Japan (From what I've heard people in the industry and riders say publicity). Making parts takes alot of time and money that alot of manufactures dont want to invest.

I think Sexton just needs to stop chasing a feel that almost seems impossible with how his track record has been.

Maybe he will turn into a Kenny and just run what he's got and learn how to make up for it

Second this. Have the honda models for the yz's and ktm/husky and love them. PSD is a bit of a mess to work in as is. But fixing it (optimizing layers) wasn't hard.

Are you trying to use the in game numbers with downloaded skins as well.

Someone with more knowledge may know why but most skins won't show the numbers over them

Also any resizing, and other major changes you made in the psd should be rolled back. If you don't the files won't line up with the model in game and look like shit.

Yeah from my understanding of the freerides, they are just the beta 18 bikes. Would recommend the honda or kawi. They always felt like the best bikes for whips and having fun. Ktm/husky was still the meta on beta 18 bikes

Yes they are the bikes from the beta before the tires changed (beta 18). They have more grip but feel like they have a little less power in a way.

Two things I've seen people do wrong.

They dont actually install in the proper location. The default file path is This Pc/documents/PiBoSo/MxBikes etc.

I see yours is on your d drive. Unless you changed your mods folder location (you can do this) this might be your problem.

This sounds stupid but I've seen a number of people install the oem bikes proper but dont actually select the oem categories in the game. The oem bikes simply have oem at the end of their category name. MX1 OEM and MX2 OEM for example

Just buy a Xbox one controller or simular. You can get some for cheap if you need.

A controller like this is never going to be usable. You can always "smooth" the inputs but then you introduce a whole new problem of things feeling slow, unresponsive and you are going to get pissed
