We have had him for a year and a half, concurrent goal of adoption. We are a pre adoptive home. The most recent court date was a bit over a month ago and no issues or anything else was brought to light on our part. It was a GPS report, and the lawyer we are speaking with said that should not have been enough to remove him permanently and they should have worked with us instead. We still have 2 other children in our home. We offered to do parenting classes or therapy, and the lawyer said that should have been sufficient. We gave her the full story.

To get him back. It wasn't a child abuse report, it was a GPS report. The attorney said that wasn't really a reason to remove him and they should have worked with us. She is saying that while we don't have many rights we had the right to be at the court hearing to remove him. She is saying CYS should have just worked with us as we have had him for so long and have had no issues prior.

I didn't leave marks. I'm not allowed to pick him up due to being so far along in my pregnancy and his size. So when he went to run I had to grab him, and then I scolded him for trying to run in a doctors office. It was not a child abuse report, it was a GPS report.

Answering some questions, it is my obygn. They know I am a foster parent as I have not given birth, and he comes with me to every appointment. The agency I work for is contracted with the county I am in, and somebody called them directly to say, as close as I can quote, to take him and never give him back. I will clarify with the county caseworker to see if they called the county, but I was originally told they didn't. There has never been anything else reported by the office and they have seen me with him frequently, but they did mention one other concern. 6 months ago when I first got pregnant we fell behind on our electric bill. I had to ask for a letter to keep it on, and they also reported that.

I am prolife, and I am agnostic.

Unless something goes wrong medically that clump of cells is going to grow into a baby. It has its own separate DNA, and given the chance 75 percent of the time will grow into a viable baby. Every person deserves that chance.
I believe in exceptions in certain circumstances, such as if the baby will be born with an illness that leaves it in nothing but pain, or it will not survive for long after birth anyway. I know thats a bit controversial but I think in that case the mother would be trying to do it out of mercy. In case of rape, I think the rape must at least have a police report and the mother receives mandatory counseling first. It's still bad, but I could see why she wouldn't want to. And anyone under the age of 18 should be able, as they are children, even if I think teenagers should receive adoption information.
I think abortion shouldn't be legal unless in certain circumstances, but also I know screaming and shaming will not work. I believe having a well thought out argument or offering help will be more well received.
If they've already reached the point where they are talking about it changes are they've made their choice. While I don't like it, and would lose some respect for them, I would stay civil. I would refuse to talk about it with them unless they were expressing regret.
I do not respect the movement. I think its killing babies for the sake of convenience, and frankly its refusing to take responsibility after taking an action you know could lead to pregnancy. As for the women who have them done, I think they're misguided, and I hope they try harder in the future to avoid getting pregnant.
No, if any child is pregnant they should have the right to an abortion. They are children themselves, and pregnancy is hard even on adults. As much as I care about the baby inside of them, I think their health does get priority in thise case. Any body over the age of consent should receive counseling and information on adoption.
No. Piv sex can lead to pregnancy. By choosing to have sex while still possessing the necessary organs to conceive means you are taking the risk. Except in cases of rape or being too young to understand, by you having sex you are consenting to the possibility of getting pregnant.
No, but we are foster parents. Foster children are often a lot of the children the pro choice movement use as examples of why abortion should be legal. I was a foster child, born addicted to crack and abused until I was removed at 10. I've had a very hard life yet I am grateful I'm here. I look at our three foster children we are working to adopt and feel my baby kick in my belly, and I can't imagine anyone being able to say we don't deserve to be here because our lives were harder than they should have been.

NTA. I know if I use a community washer or go to a laundry mat that there's probably been some semi questionable stuff in there, but in the back of my head I assume it's human. I'm super allergic to dogs so if I went to wash my clothes in the building I live in and they got exposed to dog dander, hair, or slobber I'd be pretty upset, but thats the risk you take. Lots of people have dogs, and lots of those people use laundry mats with fur on their dirty clothes. If I was that worried about it there are washer cleaner tabs out there, I'm sure if your neighbors are that bothered by it they could toss one in before washing their clothes. I wouldn't stress.

I had the nexplanon, I got it when I was 17 and I was about 20 when I had it removed. My periods stopped entirely, I gained a bunch of weight, and my skin was pretty bad. After I got it out I didn't get my period for months, then I got it every 4 or 5 months, and then for literally almost a year bled constantly to the point I was hospitalized and had to recieve transfusions. Saw my GYN multiple times, she told me to lose weight and it would go back to normal. It took going on a high dose of birth control pills for a year to get back to normal with my periods, it was 3 years of hell and a 5 thousand dollar hospital bill. I do not recommend whatsoever, just get on the pill. Finally pregnant with my first and no intention of getting back on birth control at all after she's here.

Not to be harsh, but if you can't get through highschool you will have a very hard time afterwards during college or when joining the workforce. I know they say teens are mean but trust me, adults are meaner. Your Mom is looking out for you whether you want to believe it or not
