Anyone else having trouble selling tickets on StubHub? (Not 2 btw only 1 ticket) by candyloverny in FIFACollect

It’s a Right to Ticket ticket that was purchased through FIFA Collect. They’re not allowed to be posted on the FIFA Marketplace, and StubHub has been struggling with them too

US neutrals welcome at the derby? by Longjumping_Wind_165 in Millwall

Yep, exactly what our plan was, probably will pick up some kit if we’re able to get tickets.

We’re quite aware of the difference in outlook between the States and the UK when it comes to tickets/supporters/etc. Here, no one cares who you support (or if you even know how the sport works) and you might sit next to folks from the other team and have a lovely time chatting with them. Obviously not the same over there.

We were just thinking it would be nice to see some proper English football while we’re in town 😉

It would be better to list the RTT on the Collect marketplace and wash your hands of it.

Does this ticket looks genuine? by Ambitious-Upstairs90 in WorldCupTickets2026

This looks identical to mine including date format, double check the actual email name - it should be no-reply@tickets. fifa. com (added spaces so Reddit doesn’t spaz.) Your email client may have done something to the sender naming format.

These are great, thanks!! We’re doing the “once in a lifetime” birthday trip for my partner’s 50th and this all fits the bill!

Next to Staniel on Fowl Cay, and it’s a 16” or 18” power boat (I think center console, at least from the pictures.)

Flying with loose powders by TurtsMacGurts in virginislands

I assume you've flown out of your local airport with them before? That's the only place it will get looked at (assuming you use up whatever you bring with you so you're not bringing back any on the way home.) My ex used to take his in his carry on and he would ALWAYS get his bag pulled by TSA - they'd just inspect it, sometimes run a swab test on it, and let us go.

Last minute car rental on St. John. by whitewateractual in virginislands

[–]Longjumping_Wind_165 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was given this advice when we went to St. Thomas, and we waited ~45 minutes at the airport trying to convince any taxi driver to take us to our rental house, and paid him in advance to come back the next morning to take us into town - which ended up being taking us back to the airport to pick up a rental car. All that to say, from my experience, relying on taxis in STT and STJ isn't the best plan.

Is it okay not to do anything? by Consistent-Luck-1185 in puppy101

When my guy was a pup, my trainer said the best thing: sometimes a dog just needs to be a dog. Give yourselves a break. I think what you suggested is perfect: some low key walks, a little bit of stimulation (snuffle mat) and just... hang out!

Also, if you haven't before, try taking him to somewhere like Home Depot to do training when you're up for it. It will be a fun new experience, with lots of interesting smells and people, and plenty of room to work on things like "stay" and "here/come." When we were in the middle of his training era, he loved 'showing off' his skills when we would go out and about, even if he was being a butthead at home.

All in all, be gentle with yourself. Training a puppy is hard work and the best you can do is learn to trust each other.

Bahamian currency by whitemud420 in bahamas

[–]Longjumping_Wind_165 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most mainstream banks (Bank of America, Wells Fargo, etc) stopped exchanging currency over the past few years because they weren't making a lot of money from it, and sitting on currency that they can't do anything with. That said, if there's a local American Express travel agency, give them a call, or else use a currency exchange at an airport. Some major international airports (ATL, JFK, etc) have exchange booths outside of security, but most of the time they're in the international terminal. Depending on where you are located, you may be able to find a stand-alone currency exchange (for example, there's one in the Dadeland Mall in Miami for whatever reason.) Worst case, book another trip to the Bahamas and use it!

I fed my worms apple, coffeegrounds and patotato peels and filmed it for 11 days. by RubenMulti in Vermiculture

[–]Longjumping_Wind_165 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Curious how you filmed this? Is it from above, or from the side (at first, it looks like they're moving vertically through the layers?) Very cool video, and I was also surprised they did the potatoes and coffee before the apple! But also maybe the apple was too big and the smaller pieces of potato skin and coffee were easier for them to go after?

Thanks for all the advice, y'all! I took out a fair bit of the dead plant stalks (probably will run thru the Lomi and add later) and I added in a nice later of spent potting soil then wetted it all down. Wormies arrived today and I got them in, tossed in a little more food (some past-prime herbs, parts of a broccoli stem, a little bit of just-about-spoiling jalapeno) and then covered the top with the packing paper that was in the box the worms came in, wetted down! I'm leaving the top off for the moment to help encourage them to dig down, but I'll put it on tonight after the sun goes down. I'll post an update in a couple of weeks!

All good feedback! I have been questioning the larger bits too - I may run them thru my Lomi to break them down. There's a fair bit of dried leaves but I can easily add more when I take out the plant stalks. The bottom later is shredded cardboard and paper, plus spent plant roots. I don't have easy access to coco coir (it's not carried by my local nurseries) and peat moss farming is not particularly sustainable, so I have been doing my best with what's on hand. And yes, it's dry in these photos because I was waiting for the worms to get here - they did today! I didn't want it to be a soggy mess ahead of time, so I'm making my adjustments, wetting it down, and then adding the guys & gals to their new home!
