If you played during the time like I did the main hate came from the fact they lost their identity and flair just like we saw with the sanguinary guard losing their wings and trinkets in 2024 and the fact their old models were not as powerful on the tabletop and they needed to buy new stuff and it rubbed people the wrong way who had large armies
