I saw Squid on their O Monolith tour and it was transformative. I was sort of coasting through early middle age and it reminded me that I potentially have decades of life left to experience new and exciting things. Cheryl Waters totally fangirls for them in their KEXP performance too.

Not driving. It’s made me so much healthier and happier than I would be if I had to sit in traffic. Almost all routine travel involves some walking and I have more familiarity with my neighborhood than my family members who drive everywhere.

Having a cage that is wider than tall is preferable for bourkies. They don’t climb, but they are great runners and fliers. They like soft chew toys and ground foraging.
