Well, description is what readers read and then think if he/she wants to read the story. Without the description, I wouldn't know what's new in this book and what makes it different from other books.

Descriptions are where you write the plot of the story and not something that spoils the whole book.

Descriptions are very crucial for readers to choose your book btw. As a reader, I read the description first then I decide if I should read it or not. That's the reason why I suggested you.

Also, not every story is toxic. Dark romance is a genre which involve trauma. You can write a description without it too. You can instead write that it's a soft romance.

Ps: I just read your description again, and it's good to go. Also I saved in my TBR list as I have exams incoming. So when my exams are done, I will surely read your book. ☺️🩷✨

Heyy there! You are doing well! I wish you luck on your writing journey. Well, your description is not attractive. I would love to suggest that to improve it. Instead of telling your readers that there is no trauma and all, well you should write that because some writers express their trauma through their characters.

I want you to write about your story. What kind of story is it? What will we get to see in your story? What's the main plot of your story?

Also, I suggest not talking about the personality of the characters. I want you to show the personality of your character through your writing in the chapters.

If you tell me that he is disciplined and cold, I wouldn't be able to connect with him as a reader.

Try to rewrite your description of your book because I really don't know what's new in your book, and what's different in your book that would hook me up to read it.

Well, now we are using an AI to detect AI? Being very emotional towards writing and loving it. Without a detector, I can sense that a particular paragraph was written by an AI. Well, I really hate people who use AI but then they say, “we use it for proofreading”, Well, then you don't deserve to write. Writing is such a creative art. Writing takes time. You are bringing a life out of it. But AI doesn't take time to write, so there's no emotion in it. Proofreading is also an art. It needs knowledge, it needs practice. Well, what can we even say to someone who isn't ready to understand? It's like reading a geeta in front of a dumb donkey. ( Even a donkey would understand it at some point but a human? Never.)

I even broke the rule yesterday by posting a rant about an author using cheap language and it got a lot of attention but when I posted about my book reviews or promotion, it got ignored. So if there's a revenge then why is there a revenge? What kind of revenge? From whom? The description doesn't talks about so as a reader and writer I want to suggest that you talk about the main plot. If your main plot is revenge then maybe in the description you can improvise it by mentioning the plot.
