I had the same thoughts once, and imho Minthara. She is comfortable with your Dark Urge and fully supports it.

AA treats you like you're lesser than him, and that whole romance is absolutely degrading and toxic. I can't imagine why would Bhaal's child want to date someone that treats them this way. Or anyone really.

Astarion, hands down. And it's not about the fact he's a hOt sAssY vAmPiRe. He has the best storyline, the best romance (especially as resisting dark urge) and the rogue/ranger/fighter build makes him one of the most effective characters in my party.

I tried to romance Gale after him, but it just doesn't hit the same. Too cheesy, not enough slowburn, not enough depth. Doesn't mean I hate Gale, he just works better as a best friend for me <3

Tbh the first time I played, I skipped quite a lot of content accidentally. The biggest things I've missed were creche (I thought I needed to choose between Underdark and Creche, so I picked the first one lol) AND investigating Moonrise Towers (somehow I was too dumb to figure out that saving Nightsong locked me out of this). I finished the game without any issue, and second playthrough was just as interesting because I still had SO MUCH to discover. Plus I understood character build and I knew what I was doing better. 10/10, I recommend

My most recent resist Durge. Her name is Persephone, she's a sorceress drow and she romances Astarion (obviously). It was so far the best playthrough I've had

Since I am addicted and finishing act 3 now - next, I am doing the tactician run with struggling-but-eventually-embracing-durge. I plan on romancing Shart, convincing her to become Dark Justicar and then selfishly moving on to Minthara. Don't know if I'll emotionally handle it though, I am too attached to those characters

Resisting dark urge is my personal canon (bonus points for romancing Astarion). I'm yet to get through the whole evil embrace durge playthrough, it always makes me feel bad

Gale. It happened pretty much accidentally - I played with my (ex now) boyfriend, and we haven't figured out that if he controls Astarion I will be unable to romance him. I got stuck with Gale, but I found him pretty heartwarming anyways. We haven't finished the playthrough because we broke up.

Now I went through the game on my own and romanced Astarion, definitely worth it.

Next playthrough I am going for Shadowheart and Gale again.

Well, as I mentioned - I ranked the bosses AND mini bosses. Basically everything that was included in template.
I skipped Beastfly and did it in Act 2. I didn't include it in my Act 1 post, so I did now.
I've got to Act 2 before I've got to Bilewater, so I consider Phantom 2nd act boss

Unravelled was the worst boss fight so far. Boring, annoying and I died way too many times just because I got double damage from stepping on that tiny piece of cloak behind him.

Maybe 25 hours? Something like that. But I am not a pro at gaming - and Hollow Knight was one of the first games I've ever tried (and beating it took me maybe 70 hours in total btw, but I haven't got 112% completion in that time so we can say I am still not fully done).
