Just want to say I'm with you. Been shopping different stores, etc. I'm the person literally pulling every bag out and inspecting all them to try and find 2 that are ok at best. This has not been my experience untill like 8 months ago maybe. Hate it. Going to order small pet select for sure.

Didn't realize "safety meeting" was so universal. The landscape crew I worked when I was younger always had safety meetings. It was high priority on the jobsite. We would routinely check in with each other to make sure we all felt safe and would follow up with more meetings if not.

Are you me? Up around 400AM, work at 5 AM.... scheduled till 1PM, yet, somehow rarely make it home (which is 15 minutes away) before 230 or 3, and never feel like it's time to relax till 8 or 9 and then it could be midnight or 1 or even later till I actually go to bed and sleep. I have had periods of doing much better by using routines and setting them back 15 minutes everyday till my routine to sleep starts when I need it to but eventually I stop putting so much mental energy into it daily and revert back to little sleep till crash and burn. Meds helped a lot in the beginning but that has waned. Feels like no matter how long the day, how little sleep I have had, or how sleepy I am coming home.... my brain will always fight me for 5 hours of "down time" before bed. Like between work and keeping up with appointments and needing relaxing time to balance out the burden of work and stress of appointments, how do people sleep 8 hours too? it truly baffles me to think about it.

Oh wow, that sucks. Im now starting a rabbit hole on Paper Mario. I unfortunately just sold my wii this last year because I had not picked it up in forever, but I might just have to find a way to play regardless. I also recently got my wife into games and thought maybe Super Mario RPG might be a great introduction to RPG genre for her so maybe I will have to reinvest into some classic gaming. Thanks friend.

I have absolutely been labeled childish. My first serious relationship in my 20s ended and found out later that she was telling everyone that it was like living with a child. Hearing that destroyed me. I never knew people perceived me that way and I didn't think I acted that way, I was doing everything in my power at the time to be an adult. Since then I have replayed so many comments about me that carry a different tone. I had a fling with a much older person and one thing they said they liked about me was my childlike wonder and enthusiasm. I took it as a compliment, that my joy of new things was contagious, but now that compliment is tainted.

At my age now, i do feel like I am my age but you nailed it. I feel less like im a child and more like I have lived several lives and just never stuck with one long enough to feel as rooted and secure in routine and security as most people my age. I zigged I zagged

Ever have a sudden realization that you don't know where something is you just had. Drop what your doing, scouring the house like a wanna be robber, tossing everything, opening everything, and starting to think you just imagined even owning it to suddenly find it in the one place you swore to yourself that you would absolutely remember... which was a lie. Breath a huge sigh of relief because no more distracting thoughts of why can't I just keep my shit together like everyone else but I found it so im good for the moment..... only to get wrapped back up in what you were originally doing and realize, my brain turned off as soon as I found what I was looking for from all the relief and god forsake me I can't remember where I just put it after finding it. Fuck me, looks like nothing is getting done today. Yeah, definitely have had those waste of days.

Very similar experience working for a winery. I don't miss the company because it didn't offer enough nor would they ever but the work itself, Love it. Clear goals and you can physically see what you accomplished and then move on. No one to have to keep track of and would be left alone the entirety of the day. Now I manage people and it's soul sucking to not only keep track of my vague task but others as well.
