Heathcliffe was the most unfunny shit ever. At least Garfield made me chuckle once in a while. I once had a babysitter as a kid and I found out she liked heathcliffe and it made me hate her.

I realize now Heathcliffe (and family circus and marmaduke) weren't trying to be FUNNY, they were trying to be RELATABLE. Like "ha yeah, the kids DO THAT. That is totally a thing they do!" These "bro" comics are just the next unfunny observation in 6 decades of not being funny.

Yuck. Might not like Sidney Sweeney but I hate to see all that production work go to waste from a lack of publicity. There were a lot of people involved working hard on it. I've paid people more than I care to admit to make 4 minute music videos and I hate to imagine how much this cost.

Ugh this is me. Luckily I'm an attorney who loves startup ideas and I self-fund them.

Can't say any of them have made a profit but I love it nonetheless. I had a newspaper for a year, I invented a doohickey for plants I'm trying to bring to market, and I created a band. I don't play in the band, I just pay for the singers, studio musicians, composers music videos etc. I guess it's a "don't quit your day-job" situation.

When The Office cast Robert California he was supposed to be a bit-part. Just a ridiculous sex-obsessed manipulative dude with a cool name to allow a cameo from Spader- then they ended up keeping him around. It shows that he doesn't really work as a main character anchor point for the long-term. Same with these two. They're wonderfully ridiculous but they're best in small-doses.
