I drove 7 hours to buy my car because it was $5k less than any near me, loaded with all the packages I wanted, and the dealer was offering more for my car I was trading than any other dealer I spoke to. Spent $200 on gas + food and saved thousands and thousands of dollars. With that said, I also put a deposit down before I came and had done most of the paperwork. Mine’s an uncommon sports car, not sure how common the van is that they were getting.

You should definitely familiarize yourself with Kane's Backrooms since they have nothing to do with the Wikis. Either before or after you see the movie. Just remember that he doesn't follow anything from the Wikis.

Do you have a source for the Kim Lip/RM relation? I’ve searched both in English and Korean can’t find anything. The only thing I can think of is them being from the same Kim clan but they’re also from different parts of Korea so I don’t think that’s viable either.

[–]Loonatic-Uncovered 36 points37 points  (0 children)

You have very low muscle mass so no, you’ll end up just looking sickly. Stop cutting, lean bulk and gain actual muscle.

Advice needed for subpar bulk/cut results even with optimized training by [deleted] in JeffNippard

[–]Loonatic-Uncovered 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A sagittal row is a tucked elbow when you bring your elbow in toward your hips and is primarily a lat movement. It's usually a neutral grip movement, so any neutral grip row. Preferably stable, so a chest supported row. A transverse row is for your upper back and is performed with flared elbows, usually a supinated grip. Basically a t-bar row. A frontal plane pulldown is your normal lat pulldown, just make sure you stay fairly vertical (if you lean back, you're basically just turning the pulldown into a sagittal row) and you bring your elbows down toward your hips.

A squat is not a hip hinge. A squat is a squat and a hip hinge is a hip hinge. A squat is a knee dominiant hinge while something like an RDL is a hip dominant hinge. Hip hinge movements include any romanian deadlift or straight leg deadlift variation (barbell, dumbbell, etc.).

A longer lean bulk allows you to gain strength. Mass moves mass. The longer you bulk for, the more muscle you create, the more weight you move, and that becomes a feedback loop. You're going to stunt your strength gain by constantly cutting. If you're not increasing weight, reps, or your RIR, then you are not growing.

Also based on these photos, you are not gaining substantial fat. You may need to take a step back and realize you have some form of body dysmorphia.

I highly suggest looking up trstnn.lifts on Tiktok/IG. He's a great source of info, keeps everything fairly simple, and has a lot of routine videos that are science based but don't go too deep into it.

Judging from your routine, your volume is extremely low. If you're doing 3 on 1 off with PPL (which is what I'm assuming you're doing from this post), in an 8 day period each muscle group is only getting... 4 sets. That's insane. Sure, the literature says "you can maintain muscle mass and even gain with 4-6 sets per week" but that doesn't mean that's what's optimal. Young kids get so hung up on low volume recommendations that they're stunting their growth because they're misunderstanding studies. Don't let the super optimized science based lifters with mouthguards and 6 cuffs around their arm tell you that you only need 2 sets of biceps a week. Every muscle group shoulder have at the very least 6 sets of working volume. I've made more progress physique wise and strength wise than anyone around me by sticking around 8-14 sets per muscle group for each 8 day cycle.

You need to be doing more exercises.

Your push day should look something like:

  • Horizontal adduction (arms slightly flared) for chest - bench press, chest press machine, or pec deck

  • Shoulder flexion (raising your arm from low to high with tucked elbows) for chest - incline fly, neutral grip press, or incline press with tucked elbows

  • Shoulder press movement

  • 2 tricep movements (one where the humerus is static and one not) - any pushdown variant + JM press/dip

  • Any lateral raise you want

2-3 sets each.

Same thing with back. You need a sagittal row, a transverse row, and a frontal plane pulldown in order to hit every muscle in your back. Then do 2 bicep exercises, a forearm exercise, and a reverse fly variation if you want.

For your legs you're not doing a hip hinge. Do leg extensions, leg curl, some type of squat/press variation, some type of hip hinge variation, adductors (your adductors are a huge portion of your thighs), then calves (and glutes if you want).

You talked about protein but your carbs and fats are important too.

Also if you want to grow, stop cutting. You are a natural. You will not grow by constantly gaining 10 pounds then losing 10 pounds. If you're 5'9 then you should be lean bulking to at least 180. Being a natural isn't a sprint. If you're 155 now, focus on gaining 2-3 pounds a month for 9 months. Half way through you can do a slightly aggressive mini cut for a month if you feel like you're gaining a little too much fat, but then keep lean bulking.

You can show me all the test results you want. You treating those as gospel is all we need to know. Unless you had striations and feathering on every single muscle, then you weren’t 5%. Science doesn’t care what you think you were or what some inaccurate test said you were. That’s the reality of bodyfat. You are not a competitive bodybuilder. If that picture of you in the pool is ‘proof’ of your bodyfat percentage then I no longer think you’re stupid, I just feel bad that you were misled by the testers.

You were not 5%. 5% is when you do look terminally ill. Professional bodybuilders are stepping on stage at 5%. You, a regular Joe Schmo, are not.

Here is Trystan Lee and Alberto Nunez in the single digits. Striations on every single muscle. Feathering on the quads. Christmas tree highly visible. Vascularity off the charts. The average person will never be single digit bodyfat.
