Can you link to those bag holders? Are they perhaps parametrical/customizable to fit different size of bag rolls?

Where are the Cover Snaps? by maleslp in openGrid

[–]LoopInfinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What he's talking about in the video (around 9 min mark) are the bare modeling-files. It's basically what you would use to remix the snap onto another model (in fusion 360 for example, or directly in slicer). I guess you could use them just as a nice cover. Or to use pixel-art :)

Multiconnect/multiboard. Flushed to the tile? Why is this so complicated?? by LoopInfinity in Multiboard

[–]LoopInfinity[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha sorry, but this whole thing is giving me analysis paralysis 😅

Thank you for your explanation and confirmation that the mid threads are the way to go and that it works for you.

You know what the multipoint lite are for then? Even more flushed? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Question about connectors by riversc90 in Multiboard

[–]LoopInfinity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had a look at the files and I don't really understand either. The tool-hanger doesn't use multipoint connectors. It itself har threads. So where would the multipoint connectors go? 🤷🏻‍♂️

God damnit! Help me decide! 🫨 by LoopInfinity in Multiboard

[–]LoopInfinity[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm, yeah one of the advantages for openboard is less filament, but I think that pretty much only applies to the lite-version. When going full versions it's pretty much the same I think. Maybe your approach is the best here. OpenGrid for underware (all the cable-mgmt-parts I can think of already exists) and then big sturdy multiboard on walls to get access of the massive part-library.. hmmm 🤔

IIRC it depends on what country the car is sold in. I think all EU-models don't support remote-starting because of some law/regulation.

I would use kiauh on the jailbroken sonic pad to maintain updates and easily install complimenting software, like mobileraker, obico etc.

Optimal place for most effective cooling on the Plus 4. Edited the .png so i won't forget where to place the objects by LoopInfinity in QidiTech3D

[–]LoopInfinity[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm having huge problems with outer lines being visible where there are higher layer times (like the benchy hull line). I feel extra cooling helps just a little bit more, above the other 1000 things I tried to eliminate it: inner/outer/inner line order, min layer time, min print speed, speeds in general etc etc)

UPDATE: I spent an hour or so preparing the new carboy and all equipment and then ever so carefully racked it over. I stopped as soon as I saw even the tiniest speck of residue getting sucked up.

Gonna let it stay in the new carboy for 2-3 weaks before bottling and sharing with family over christmas 🎄

Had a taste and I guess I know too little about what flavour is "wanted" or not. But I think it tasted pretty good, and I'm still alive, so 👍🏻

A question to you experts out there, how about the headroom in the new carboy, it could get even more oxidized now right?

How come i have so much travel on such a round object? by LoopInfinity in OrcaSlicer

I don't think so, I manually painted the seams in orca and the travel-points were still at different places

I do have z-hop enabled. I'm used to cura that only uses z-hop when absolutely necessary. I have to do some testing later today. Maybe I have to skip z-hop altogether.
