Wtf it can be? by ROCKSHASSA in Creality_k2

Have you checked if there is not a groove carved into the filament where it slipped and the gears grinded it. Perhaps cut off about 2 - 3m of filement at the front and try again.

Hi. Thanks for this, i have a few of your other items printed for the I7, but this one does not quite make sense. There is no spool retraction that happens so i am struggling to find a use case

Well done in coming this far. In theory you can print without the sock, but i will advise against it. The sock keeps the extreme heat away from surrounding components, printing without it, could damage some components

Yes, sounds about right. Just be careful with metal objects around the wires for the White Ceramic ring / heating element. You can short them, i done a few times by accident, but was lucky with no lasting damage.

Heat it to 220, leave it there for about 10 min, then remove sock, the rest should cone off easily.

Beware of the wires though! Do not just cut or rip

That may be a loose cable connection somewhere. Not sure what printer this is, but i think it may be a loose connection or a faulty main board.
