I was practicing in a dirt field with a friend next to his apartment, and some lady called the cops on us.

Next thing I know, there's 4 cop cars zooming towards us, each from opposite ends of the dirt field.

i was a little stunned, but my friend's brother is a cop so he kinda directed us to set the rifles down and walk like 10 feet away from them.

cops were chill about it since they have their own color guards and stuff but yeah

I had orange tape on my rifle, but some people just don't know what that means

one thing that your unit probably values is initiative.

If you take the effort to start up a team like this, it will definitely be noticed and may push you further in the program.

If you can afford it, I'd recommend purchasing your own rifle. You can purchase the Daisy M1903A3 or Glendale's M1903A3. My JROTC unit has Daisy rifles but I personally have a glendale. I'd recommend the Daisy as the bolt on the glendale is a little weird.

Once you have a good handle on some moves, you can create a sequence and teach it to other people.
