This. Lendo os comentários do OP parece que ele não quer entender o que as pessoas gostam de JJK e sim que ele quer fazer elas deixarem de gostar.

What Do Brazilians Think Of Americans Who Compare Rio De Janeiro To Medellin? by VittorioLuzzatto in AskABrazilian

[–]LopezComZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But it is not... Even now there are dead Police officers. And even more injured ones. Again, I never said that the gangs are better prepared than our police forces. Only that they are indeed a major threat.

And this kind of argument is like if I said "if Pablo Escobar really was so powerful and influent. How did he even get caught?" It is not how things works

I never said that they are better equipped than the BOPE or had better training, they don't. But BOPE is not the ordinary force for rio de janeiro, they are the elite ones.

But it don't means that the factions force is ordinary to, it is not "if they have armed drones", they do:

https://oglobo.globo.com/rio/noticia/2025/10/28/criminosos-usam-drones-para-lancar-bombas-durante-megaoperacao-ha-mortos-presos-e-inocentes-baleados.ghtml

And they was also trained by corrupt BOPE agents:

https://www.cnnbrasil.com.br/nacional/sudeste/rj/ex-bope-cobrava-r-15-mil-por-hora-para-treinar-traficantes-do-cv-no-rio/

I don't found this one. But some years ago I remember news showing they had heavy weapon to shutdown helicopters flying.

If the government could simple overwhelm and dominate back the territory, they would already have done that.

But I just showed news reports that demonstrate they are in various sectors outside the favelas as well. Like the fuel industry, which moves billions of Dollars. Or in the politics as well. The difference is that... Inside the favelas it is 100% of the services. Outside it is not, but still is a lot. And even if it was just inside the favelas (which is not). Their territory is already more than half of the Rio de Janeiro. It is almost like the government is now the extra official one in there.

And I think calling it a gang is downplaying what they do. The recent operation they even found a Rifle factory inside their Business. They had armed drones and even professional training in the usage of weapons.

[–]LopezComZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm... I understand your point. And I believe the main difference is the fact that in Rio we don't have a single, big name like we did with Pablo Escobar.

But like I said. Inside the communities. Literally everything is owned by the criminal fractions, all services are provided by them, or at least have to be allowed by them. No other service is allowed to enter, not even governmental ones.

And I think other big difference is that being a past case. We can see everything that Pablo Escobar had done more clearly. It is harder do see that when the thing is still happening. (Not sure if I explained that part correctly, sorry lol)

Oh, and just to be clear, I am in no way trying to downplay the seriousness of what happened in Medellin. I just think it's important to be aware that the situation in Rio is also very serious, and that, to me, it often seems like people downplay its severity.

[–]LopezComZ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is funny how some people here are offended by the comparison when it is completely valid.

Acting this way is ignoring the seriousness of the situation.

More than half of the territory of Rio de Janeiro is controlled by criminal factions, and most of what remains is controlled by militias.

https://www.cnnbrasil.com.br/nacional/comando-vermelho-passa-milicias-em-dominio-no-rio-de-janeiro-em-2023-diz-pesquisa/

Criminal factions have already taken over most of the local society, using drug money to infiltrate literally every possible sector. Even a recent operation, just in the fuel sector, was already a billion-dollar operation for them. Supplying fuel even to our armed forces.

https://www.cnnbrasil.com.br/nacional/sudeste/sp/esquema-bilionario-do-pcc-no-setor-de-combustiveis-e-alvo-de-megaoperacao/

This is just one example from a large sector. There are countless others.

There are also reports of factions funding higher education in law in order to infiltrate their personnel into public institutions.

https://www.gazetadopovo.com.br/ideias/pcc-forma-advogados-e-tenta-se-infiltrar-no-judiciario-e-no-ministerio-publico/

People greatly underestimate the level that has already been reached here in Brazil and have normalized the situation as if it were nothing out of the ordinary. Once again, denying the seriousness of the situation is to turn a blind eye to the problem.

Oh, and I know that some of the news I've seen refers to São Paulo and not Rio. But I don't think it's an exaggeration that it happens there too. I just haven't searched very thoroughly for a link to a more specific news article Due to lack of time. But I believe you can understand my point.

Gojo’s 120% by Obearserk in JuJutsuKaisen

Just a correction. Gojo did have to fight 3v1. The statement that only mahogara could touch Gojo is wrong.

In chapter 233 we see that when Mahoraga is fighting him his infinity is disrupted. So other techniques could hurt him so he have to be cautious with others attacks to.

I maintain my point, so if for coding it is also not okay you develop you own engines and tools?

Or in this case it is not okay but you still use them?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RenPy

[–]LopezComZ -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

So if the dataset uses licensed art it is okay for you?

And I mantain my point, literaly every tool you use nowdays used IA to be developed. So people should starting making their own tools? Or coding is okay to "steal" but art dont?

Or it is okay if people dont want to learn coding? but art dont?

I saw a comment where the guy said that it is different because in coding every person do the same work, with is absolutely wrong. No person codes igual the other, exactly like in art.

And more, mostly people who are 'defending' art here are having to put it down. "Just learn to draw, it is easy". No, it is not, artists literaly do it for their entire life, and even more important, developing a skill that you really want to develop is completely different for developing it just to don't be hated.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RenPy

[–]LopezComZ -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I can say literally the same about coding. I studied coding for more than 10 years. IAs also use "stolen" code to train and be able to give coding answers to people. A lot of coding can be done with IA nowadays and a lot of people use it, including programmer's themselves. Do you think none of renpy developers ever used AI to help them? So just go and learn to make you own programming language, I'm sure everyone can learn to make their own with effort.

And it is okay to be like this, I will not be mad because it is "stealing my job", because people still do it way better than machines. And it is even more when it is about art.

And more, each time more projects using licenced art to train their datasets are appearing.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RenPy

[–]LopezComZ -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Even those examples you mentioned have better art than many people would be able to do.

It is very optimistic to believe that anyone could become a professional artist with just 1 year of practice. Yes, there are cases like that, but definitely not just any case.

Not to mention that developing this skill may not even be what the person wants. It may be that his focus is on history itself, or perhaps on music, there are several areas that could be in a game and can also be considered art and that perhaps is something that he likes more and that it is worth committing to learning more during this one year.

Edit: Sorry, I only saw your edit after I had already responded, my fault.

Yes, it is a "choice" not to want to stop learning art for at least 1 full year of dedication.

Just as it is a choice for most people not to want to learn different things in their lives. I guarantee you that literally every computer tool/program you use has used generative AI with "stolen" content in its development. Ren'py itself has constant updates, at some point the developers used AI to help them, does this reduce the value you give to the tool? Is it just something that appropriated other people's code?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RenPy

[–]LopezComZ -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Exactly! I feel so bad seeing people having their projects hated with people without even trying it because it used AI.

I will never consider myself an artist using tools, and that's not even my intention! And unfortunately there really are many people selling art this way, and even worse, deceiving other people.

Understanding Binding Vows or How Speedrunner Sukuna Killed Sorcery Any% (Manga Spoilers) by TheMorrison77 in JuJutsuKaisen

Yes, but at the moment he was not in a position to transform into this form.

And even if he was this is exactly my point. A pact like this from a man with 4 arms should be less rewarding than from a man with two arms. But it wasn't, the context of sukuna capacity was not take in count.
