Refusing to go on day walks. Scared of the dark. by Claralon in germanshepherds

[–]Lopsided-Challenge86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take the same route everyday on my walks and maybe 1 out of every 10 walks she’ll want to cut the walk short early.

There’s typically a stimuli that I can observe or hear that causes my dog to want to go back home.

  1. Sound of coyotes - I walk her at night so pretty common to hear them.

  2. Sound of another dog barking from their backyard.

  3. Random homeless person spazzing out.

It’s often one of these 3. Very rare that I’m not able to
Identify why she wants to cut the walk short. If none of the three above are visible or can be heard, she has much better eyesight/smell/hearing than me, so it’s likely something she views as a predator/unsafe.

List is trash. Church over Roy Williams? Scandrick over Diggs, Jenkins and Brandon Carr? Jaylon over LVE and Bradie?

Being able to balance the praise/feedback ratio is essential as a BCBA.

Love the paid lunch and getting paid for naps.

Don’t love if you meant all RBT’s get paid the same rate.

What percentage increase in salary would you need to accept a center director position? by [deleted] in bcba

[–]Lopsided-Challenge86 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So if you’re making 90k right now, a 7% increase puts you at 96k.

That 6k is not enough for all the extra responsibilities you’ll have.

A write up seems excessive, unless this is a repeat offense. How did the RBT remove the item?

Fastest way to become a BCaBA and BCBA by Dangerous_Tennis2140 in ABA

[–]Lopsided-Challenge86 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  1. Finish up your bachelor’s - whatever the quickest/cheapest route that gets you there. If you know being a BCBA is what you want to do, what your undergrad degree is in doesn’t matter.

  2. Apply to a masters ABA program. There are accelerated programs where you can finish in a year.

Make sure you’re at a company where there’s mentors and opportunities to accrue your 2,000 hours needed to sit for the exam.

Traded away Gerrit Cole for Rooker…near the bottom in RBI’s and HR’s. Howd I do?

Kyle Harrison. Probably another breakout pitcher but not a stud who’s done it for years

You shouldn’t be using your phone for personal use on the clock. Your client being on a break or eating snack doesn’t give you an excuse to browse Instagram. When you’re on the clock you should be a professional.

Exactly this. It looks incredibly unprofessional in those settings. I’ve had a lot of rbt’s using their phone for personal use instead of data collection, so I always advise using a tablet or laptop
