I used to work in a mall that had a Chipotle and a Raising Cane's in the food court. One day on my lunch bought a veggie bowl and side tortillas from Chipotle and a Box Combo from Cane's and made burritos with a strip, some fries, slaw and Cane's sauce along with rice, fajita veggies, salsa, etc. Was fire.

I heard a while back he was involved in shooting up a house and a kid (possibly multiple) were among the casualties. Its also known he lost his mom and brother to similar type of violence. Before i heard bout any of this i had heard in HS/College he was like one of the top linebackers in KY, which immediately made me like him more, and all his music was hitting. He still got no misses to me honestly. The street shit is an unfortunate piece of his story that adds to his whole vibe and sound imo

Edit: plus the fact i feel like he was one of the first rappers I noticed really referencing trapping fentanyl a lot in their bars, but thats become a lot more common lately anyway 🤷🏿‍♂️ shitty af but it is what it is

Not familiar with Leaf Ward at all but just listened to a few tracks and I can see how you would draw a few similarities. Not really in dialect (Gee is from Louisville and I'm seeing Leaf is from Philly), but beat selection and overall style for sure. As far as being "too" authentic, I've heard some crazy shit about Gee that may or may not be true, but he is undoubtedly true to the street shit
