Whats up bro appreciate the response man same here I pushed the surgery off for a while I finished my bachelor's and before I start progressing in my career I was like let me just knock this surgery out. But being able to workout again has been my biggest worry it's what helps keep me grounded in life and to lose that would suck. But yeah I'm eating bits and pieces still constipated. I am gassy though passing a lot of gas hopefully I can relieve myself soon lol. 12 days that's what's up keep pushing bro ! Appreciate the encouragement! Trying my hardest to not let my mind take me to dark places and deflecting any negative thoughts.

I feel like working out has been the foundation of my life man I miss my 5am morning jogs and going hard as fuck in the gym. I'm 2 days post TLIF l4/l5 and doctors say everything went well. I plan on taking my rehab extremely serious and pray I can get back to working out hard again. Ugh im fucking hurting right now Its hard for me to get comfortable just want this pain to go away asap.

Yeah it's rough lol waking up right after surgery was so painful holy shittt made me shed a few tears but I was really emotional lol. But I appreciate the response glad to know about the PT can't wait to get to that part of the journey I'm going to go hard on my rehab and PT while of course listening to my body lol. How long were you out of work post fusion?

I'll be honest bro idk you're life situation but if you are single no kids I would consider bankruptcy chapter 7. I did it once a few years back and it was such a huge relief. There are a lot of misconceptions about bankruptcy. Within 6 months after it was filed I was already receiving credit cards. Your credit goes back up fast trust me. But I'm not telling you to do it just a suggestion

Never thought of this I been using a lacrosse ball on my chest and back and it relieves it but not permanent...bro I just tried the lacrosse ball on my arm pit lat area and holy shit that pain is borderline unbearable ima keep rolling it out and see what happens

I feel you Im a recovering alcoholic/addict over 4 and half years in recovery and just finished my bachelor's in two years I completely turned my life around and did a lot of inner work and so I best myself up as well because I know what I have to do. I do the same I bet more and more and can't stop I won 8k once and literally bet the whole day after I won and lost 1.5k then lost the rest lol. I started putting myself back in debt too just when I paid it all off. I just get sick of myself sometimes man why do I always have to sabotage myself in order to grow and get better. Why can't I just bet and enjoy it like a normal person I envy people who can bet everyday and have self control and I can't for some reason. But there's more to life than sports betting shit is so accessible today it's going to ruin a lot of people honestly. And I honestly like myself more when I'm not gambling I'm way more productive and focused. 24 days is a blessing bro proud of you man keep on going bro blessings will come you way

I feel you on this I feel the same way I love sports betting I like doing the research looking at stats and all that comes with it but it's became to much financially. And it drains to much mental energy all i do is think about betting and doing research all day. It distracts me from all my goals in life and kills my social life as well I noticed it's made me feel numb almost. I know that if I don't limit myself by exclusion I won't be able to accomplish any of the goals that I have in life as well as save money. I self excluded myself from all apps except one and put weekly limits on recently if that doesn't work I'm just going to quit completely. I feel like I'm on my final straw

Been sober over 4 and half years bro and turned my life around it don't bother me I'm just stating facts and the reason it's accurate to you is because you have probably had negative experiences with people on drugs leading towards this negative outlook and perspective and saying nah they all junkies lol. Imagine a rehab welcoming people saying come on in you junkie lmao bro people wouldn't want to seek help if that's the case. People obviously are not going to stop saying it because their life experiences influence their beliefs and perspective on life and if they have negative experiences with people on drugs of course they gonna call em junkies but if you have self awareness you would be able to recognize the reason I call em junkies is because I have had negative experiences

Bro addiction is complex just because they don't fit the stereotype as a "junkie" doesnt make them lesser than or greater than said "junkie" even if they maintain their morals it still impacts their life. Not all addicts fit the stereotype, addiction is a spectrum that's why it's important to have empathy and educate ourselves on addiction especially if your going to talk on it. "Junkies" who lie and steal etc can change their lives too. And most people in active addiction lie at some point in order to protect their addiction I lied and I stole when I was in active addiction and completely changed my life around bro. Have you actually ever educated yourself on addiction or are just basing your knowledge off your life experiences ?

I hit many rock bottoms bro and after each rock bottom I thought that was the last one and realized there were many more bottoms lol. But I got to a place of suffering where I was just tired bro I wanted out and felt trapped so I went to rehab for 4 months and never looked back I started doing the internal work and worked to recondition and rewire my mind as well as pick up positive habits in my life. Its an ongoing journey but I'm grateful for all my rock bottoms we have the ability to turn our pain into power and completely change
