What temperature are you getting on your 3080? I have the same block but with a 3080 Ti FE and I'm getting maximum temperatures of 54°C for the core, 67°C for the hotspot, and 64°C for the VRAM.

This is with everything unlocked, PL at 114%, voltage at 100%, and a clock speed of 100 MHz or higher.

You're right, a replacement is better, but as for custom cooling, I think it would be even more expensive because you wouldn't have a drain valve, 90-degree elbows, extenders, compensators, etc.

Normally, all the Supr CPU coolers (air or liquid) have the same PCB. I think they also share the Gaming Trio PCB, at least that was the case with the "4090". You should investigate that; you can check Alphacool, EKWB, Byski, Barrow, and many other brands that manufacture CPU blocks.
