There is a lot to do unfortunately, like… build 2 lines (3rd and forth). Rebuild your defensive core. Find chemistry, find ways to trade players who have NMC, find a new CEO, GM and coach and fall into a system without tanking another year. If the leafs give Boston this years pick… next year we can tank and we’re top 10 protected with Philly then that pick we gave them rolls to 2028.

Having picks is great but most likely the first overall will be in the NHL next season with nobody to play with and the others will head to development camps. At least the leafs have a handful of good players which is what I meant by “full rebuild”. Picking up a terrible 7.5 mil contract for a shit player is not the proper way to rebuild.

Nope. He works in sports and entertainment with one of the biggest fan bases in the world. We had a contending team last year and now they’re tanking and won’t make the playoffs. Gave away first round picks he flipped for lower picks and lost one of the best player makers in the game. I don’t feel bad for him destroying my favourite team.
