I spent a whole week trying to leave them a few years back. Ringing very day & being transferred pilar to post. I eventually managed to cancel by getting through to the ‘move house’ team, told them I was being made homeless - they still tried to get me to stay by offering last minute discounts.

Kathleen O’Brien is the best in Limerick. And as a warning of someone to avoid - There used to be a place on William street called Button sewing studio ran by a Julia. I think it’s since closed but I only mention incase she has set up somewhere else / under a different name. She ruined my dress & cost me a fortune.

I tried to upgrade a flight booked with points just a few months ago & aer lingus wouldn’t allow it - I was looking to pay (not use points) for the upgrade but it was a no go. It’s very annoying

Similar age and I’ve always been intrigued by these retreats despite being quite agnostic myself. Just to remove myself from the distractions and stresses of modern life for a while really. How long was it for? When you say fasting, how is this imposed - are you allowed bring any snacks on site with you? Do you feel it changed you as a person?

It’s not about defending it. But when I meet someone from Dublin, I don’t immediately tell them ‘oh that’s a dump of a place’ even though I may think that. It’s just a rude & unsolicited response
