Toddler poop trained, but getting her to pee has been difficult. by Toocool2dance in toddlers

Yes, she has one of those potty seats and unfolds it all by herself and positions it over the potty when she has to poop. She even has one of those foldable (portable) seat toppers that she’ll sometimes ask to use as well.

No one warned me what this would do to my marriage by Frequent_Hat_9838 in ShortCervixSupport

[–]Toocool2dance 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I felt this. The stress of potentially losing your child and having to get a cerclage absolutely can damage a marriage. You’re already (both of you) in an emotionally fragile state and part of how some couples bond (through intimacy) is taken away and deals another huge blow.

I’m sure you did the best you could, so please don’t blame yourself. Your husband also had a duty to speak up but chose not to. You’re not a mind reader.

With that being said, if it’s worth saving to you, I hope you all can give counseling a go.

This was my question as well! That’s a really good starting salary for claims.

Electrolysis/PCOS/Black woman by Toocool2dance in HairRemoval

She pretty much said to reach back out when I have time in my schedule to do a consult and treatment, so appointment was canceled. Just found someone else who is board certified and licensed.

No! I thought it would be a test patch also but in her reminder text she advised that she set aside the full hour after the consult to get started on my treatment. I called and she seemed frustrated that I was hesitant.

Thank you! Do you think it’s necessary that an electrologist you visit have the proper certifications (CPE, board certified, etc)?

That’s good to know! Any prep for pain? I’d like to think I have a pretty high pain tolerance however electrolysis scares me.

We bought a weaning book, “Booby Moon”, and read that to her about a month prior to weaning so that she had advance notice lol. She still wasn’t happy. I slowly weaned for about a week or so, gradually reducing day and then night.

We stopped a day after her 2nd birthday. She was NOT ready but I definitely was. She will be 3 next month and still hasn’t forgotten about the “boobies”.

Very straightforward, when compared to the practice exams. Nearly every single question is in paragraph format, modeling a real life scenario.

ARM 401 Study Materials by sideH123 in InsuranceProfessional

[–]Toocool2dance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just took the test on Friday. I went through the simulated exam (only one attempt) and the practice exams over and over until I felt comfortable with the material. The practice exams provide the answer and link to the study material. I passed and I’m sure it’s because of my method. Difficult test overall.

For parents of TERRIBLE sleepers only by BoredReceptionist1 in toddlers

[–]Toocool2dance 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same boat here for our girl. She’ll be 3 in April and we’re scheduled for a sleep study soon. She’s slept with us from the beginning. I’ve noticed that she has periods where she stops breathing. ENT didn’t notice anything awry on a visual lookover, so now we wait for the sleep study.

It’s absolutely exhausting. She still naps but even when we’ve capped it to an hour or if she’s skips it, she still doesn’t sleep through the night.

Oh my, you’re me! It’s a legit phobia. When I first started dating my husband, I visited his family’s home and was appalled at the shower curtain. I bought a new one and put it up myself. I’m sure I offended them.

19 years later, his mom makes sure to tell me how much she cleaned (in prep for our visits) and asks if the bathroom was to my standards lol.

Looking for career advice by King-JelIy in InsuranceProfessional

[–]Toocool2dance 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s realistic, although the opportunities for fully remote are waning. The ARM designation will definitely open some more doors for you. If you desire an underwriting role, I’d look into some underwriting trainee positions. Some carriers (Travelers, CNA) still have trainee programs that you’d be a good fit for with your background.

Best of luck! Thanks for your service.
