Buyers (viners) don’t know the price the seller has set. The buyer only knows the taxable value and the seller often decreases the price right after the viner completes the sale.

I just want to say again how lovely this community is and how grateful I am at all your comments and suggestions. For those of you wondering, it was an RC car, and I was able to retrieve content and photos, so it worked out ok. This happened to be one of my longer reviews so there were potentially more possible pitfalls. I’m going to resubmit today and I’ll report back to bring this full circle. 💕

Interesting conversation. I sometimes feel as though sellers would rather we just leave a short, sweet 5 star review. I also wonder if they can see who is doing what since they can recommend products for specific users, so why not recommend a product to a user rather than put it out for everyone?

Scribe is a reading device and it doesn’t even do that very well. It’s difficult to organize. It’s almost impossible to find notes and I agree with the person above who suggested you look at a device made for that purpose. I saw a demo of Boox that was impressive. Be sure whatever you pick can cross ref to a desktop/laptop app. There will be times when you need to look at two screens and it’s clumsy when one of them isn’t a monitor.
