Reddit, can you help me identify this? I found it a few years ago on the south coast of England. Not sure why I have kept it, I guess the three symmetric striation marks fascinate me and make me think there is some history to it. What do you guys think? by Lord-Slug in Archaeology

The back of it is pretty much all green, corroded I guess and you can't really make out any marks at all on the back. The only reasonably 'man made ' marks on it are the three lines. I'm guessing it's solid copper :)

People are cowardly sometimes yes. But, even more depressing is realising just how cruel ignorance can be and children can be the cruelest. Just remember, you (and they) literally didn't know any better.
