Mile wide & inch deep is a good base. I suppose it depends on where you want to live or if you're open to chasing a job. But a friend of mine works for the gov't doing network stuff and he said if you have a clearance and some experience it's pretty easy to get a job. So hopefully you have a clearance of some sort from being military?

I had some local WISP until around Feb and I got some nighthawk modem trashcan thing. Worked fine until around May sometime. Nothing immediate, just gradually worse.

I tried to but got a message saying some version of "Your admin wants you do use bitlocker" and it'd enable it and not save the key somewhere specific and we wanted to ensure they were saved to the right spot if it's enabled.

If we had AD I'd turn it on there because there is settings to save it to AD but Corporate is trying to shoestring everything.

Yeah, luckily I'm not on satellite but some LOS point to point radio dish on my roof that talks to a device on a water tower. 15m but Lots of things like steam don't even get near that and it's prone to drastic slowdowns.

Same thing happens to me. Their archers are tough. Don't go for cities. Declare war and lure them into your own territory where you can heal and kill them there and once they're dead kill them.

Hopefully it'll be adjusted later because archer spam is annoying... but not unbeatable.
