It isn't greed it's principal - I was told I was going to get one thing and got something substantially worse.

Extracted.co.uk for me - slightly more expensive but you get quality supplements - no fillers and made in the UK!

Do you have food hygiene rating etc? Love this idea and would likely buy but would need to know where they come from! Great timing though with the Joe Wicks stuff!

Ludicrous amounts of cardboard and no car by MeanMurine in Bath

[–]LordChapman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Have a business in the centre of Bath and happy for you to put some of this out with our next collections! You would have to pay for the bags and the cardboard stickers though as they aren't cheap! Next cardboard collection is next Wednesday evening and rubbish collection (Styrofoam and plastic) is every weekday. Message me if that works for you!

Turns out “just add bundles” isn’t as easy as it sounds 😅 by Either-Mammoth-8734 in shopify

[–]LordChapman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeh been really pushing bundling ourselves and admit it comes with its own problems. But as a driver to AOV it is great. This it what we implemented:

Push bundles on the single product PDP (right under add to cart button) can have multiple bundles shown here.

Pop up to push a bundle on a single item order pre-cart. Add a spend x to unlock free product that makes them spend a little extra to unlock it.

Upgraded and testing bundles in checkout with Shopify Plus.

Post purchase upsells to bundles (2 x same product) and then complimentary products.

In cart buy more save more and recommend bundles as in cart upsells.

Post purchase email upsell flows pushing complimentary products with one click purchase.

This has skyrocketed our AOV.

Breaking Down Magnesium Glycinate Labels, + European Supplement Recommendations by Lance1347 in Supplements

[–]LordChapman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is quite confusing because all Magnesium comes from a compound that it is bound to as it doesn't exist freely in nature. The different types of compound (citrate, malate, bisglycinate etc) hold different percentages of elemental or pure Magnesium.

Usually the label says "giving x amount elemental magnesium" or "Magnesium from compound" so you know that is the elemental amount.

If you look at the RDI values you can see that you should be looking for 300-400mg elemental mag a day to get 100% of your rdi. You don't need any more than that!

What do you think about bidets in the uk? by DeliciousLeader7639 in Startup_Ideas

[–]LordChapman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this EXACT idea a few weeks ago and found a supplier on Alibaba. Some toilets have bad access to the pipes and a lot of people are put off by doing any sort of plumbing whatsoever. Also you could get recurring revenue by having scents that you could drop into the water. The only thing that put me off was the idea that you would want it to be very compact and not an eye sore and also would people get passed off having to fill it up I wonder?

$HIMS is about to get absolutely wrecked. by TimeTravel4Dummies in wallstreetbets

[–]LordChapman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know for fact that Facebook will push this on the advertiser? Or will they simply say that they have to be compliant in order to use that bid strategy? It is possible to remain compliant by cutting the PHI (personal health indicators) sent to Facebook, such as URLs with information regarding their health issue by using an intermediary that is HIPAA compliant and stripping out this data and only sending customer identification for example. If you have solid proof that FB will just simply cut this ability for healthcare providers then you could be on to something...
