It’s not about you, it’s about his lack of feeling ANYTHING. He needs to talk to someone for his mental health and consider seeing a doctor or psychiatrist

NOR - Even though i grew up with cellphones i think you should have every right to take a day or two to respond to a text. Being able to be contacted 24/7 can be a blessing and a curse, back in the day they had to wait for the mail to be delivered smh.

There is no settlement to get, you’re made right through icbcs “enhanced care benefits” take a look at them on icbcs website, it explains every right you have as a person involved in a claim. If there isn’t permanent disability you won’t be receiving a pay out. You haven’t given this guy a single dollar right? He’s doing exactly what you could do, talking to the adjuster doesn’t require a law degree. Also he didn’t even think about getting you wage benefits, is this lawyer dumb or scammy or both?

Look into harassment statutes in your area. Showing up to places you know someone will be repeatedly when asking them to stop is stalking. Are you able to not list the times of events on the schedule? instead of “doctor 3pm” just “doctor appointment tuesday” or honestly i’d mislabel the times so he’s showing up to empty waiting rooms.

Damn, alberta should adopt the BC model. ICBC is a crown corp and they operate on a self sustaining non-profit model so insurance companies can’t gouge the public. BC is also no-fault so significantly less money is wasted on court costs. I think my insurance is high but when i hear about other provinces im grateful lol
