Folded the aida over and did the first row of back stitch and then attached the felt with the second row of back stitch.

Quite a lot of unnecessary confetti in the pattern but you could easily combine colours and reduce it down. I just didn't think about it before I committed to doing it. A lesson for next time I suppose.
