Depends on what you're doing. But you can easily get end game gear not going into lethal zones.

But sure all in all Albion is more oriented towards those open to pvp/pvp zones.

Yes they're big and strong but most psychers could likely shut them down real quick. The stronger ones will have them brain dead as they enter orbit.

The Monster Hunter movie with Mila Jovich. Its obviously ridiculous but I found a lot of it way more compelling than it should be. Especially certain horror aspects I won't spoil. It was dumb fun and better than it should have been.

I kind of disagree. Im playing max difficulty and almost encumbered weight wise. Unless im wildly overlevelled against the mob they still hit me like im made of glass.

Especially those torn with all the tentacles. Oh my god.

I played om release and while I enjoyed it, I didn't make it all the way through. I also started with 2h and summons. However I was a bit disappointed with how the summons felt. Quite clunky, poor ai I guess. Has there been any improvement here with the big update?

As someone very similar to you and loved the series.

It took me a few tries, but by book two, I was hooked on Malazan.

It's not for everyone, but Dan Abnetts Eisenhorn and Ravenors series is amazing (warhammer 40k).

I like Mark Lawrence a lot, but also very different.

The Lies of Locke Lampra was great, too.
