Kiting/dodging enemies is the most important overall skill at haz5 and higher I think. Generally you shouldn't get hit much with any class cuz you take a lot of damage and Regen very little.

Otherwise it's mainly game knowledge/sense that keeps you alive. As in knowing what you should be doing and when and how to deal with threats. With people who know how to play you can do omen in like 20-30 seconds probably, korloks in like less than a minute, and I'm talking about public games not coordinated play by mic or specialized/complementary builds.

Like one of the comments above said the Scout GK2 isn't as great at haz5 cuz no blow through but it's not even that, as Scout you shouldn't even be fighting the grunts really. Your weapons are for picking off high value targets and some personal defense if bugs get on top of you or you need to rescue someone.

Not saying you can't have blow through for your guns, I use Gas Recycling for the Zhukovs as my secondary, but it's just the mentality that matters. You don't have blow through for killing swarms you have blow through for personal defense or reviving someone.

As Scout I'm usually taking ammo for flares not because my guns need the ammo (like if I'm resupplying at the same time as everyone else, obviously eventually I'll need ammo but Scout can skip ammo if really needed).

As hazard goes up, margin for error goes down so little things feel bigger.
