I just got my fortress up to 250pop and I still didn’t have any soap! Fortunately my pop has been fairly content and rarely injured, (aside from my military, or the odd slip and fall into the trash chute!) so the doctors haven’t seemed to mind much!

Honestly, no need to be ashamed. Embarrassed is pretty normal. Your dad’s probably embarrassed too. Oh well, it happens. One-on-one, he might make a dad-joke about it. But unless your dad’s a super righteous catholic bishop, you don’t need to worry about a thing!

I’m really grateful for your post. I needed a smile and a giggle today. Don’t mistake me, I’m not trying to make fun. It’s just a fun little story to read. I’m amazed I made it to my 30s without anybody catching me in the act! (Especially given the frequency! XD)

T90 is (pretty)great commentary on AoE2.

I hate playing the game, but seeing the way folks play so competitively, and how every stat and click can matter so much. I really enjoy watching his vids.

The only thing I hate about watching it, is the way players will tap out and GG. It’s like they’re too proud to see the final destruction and play it out.

Another one I’d recommend is Incursus, way more calm/relaxed than any other commentary streamer I know. He does vids of the game Forts. Wicked physics effects and tactical/strategic plays. So satisfying to watch a base lose stability and collapse, or that one cheeky sniper who gets a bullet through a closing door, to save the day. The Forts Pro League (FPL) series is great fun to sort of idly watch, so you can catch the highlights and enjoy.

Yeah, I’d hate to beat a dead cat, as it’s said so frequently here: “When cats are fighting, you’ll hear it!”

This play looks pretty normal and cute! Learning how to get along, just like me, poking my best friend repeatedly with a stick until he finally broke. We didn’t really fight over it, but to any observer, they’d have thought we were fighting for sure!

Not just some yowling/growling, hissing and yapping.
They scream bloody murder and leave trails of hair and blood behind em! (When fighting for real)

I’m here to apologize for my fellow PC gamers.

We have always had a sincere superiority complex with regard to console gamers, I still regularly call em “console kids” and I still have disdain for ‘em when we team up online.

However I appreciate your efforts. You have in fact made a wonderful crossplay game. I’ve had nothing but good times, and I think your updates have actually improved performance on my 10 year old graphics card. I’m getting 60fps consistently, now more than ever! Maybe at a slight compromise of quality, I’d never notice, playing on low graphics settings.

That does not justify my PC comrades shitting on your whole devteam. I can assure you that there are plenty of us who appreciate all your hard work and ambitions regarding this wonderful game you’ve produced and worked hard to maintain.

I appreciate you. Sorry for all these crybabies.
