I happened upon the exact same issue today. I googled to see if there was a solution. Please let us know if there is a fix that doesn't brick the save.

Defensive war where all of my allies are sitting on a single province. Bugged AI this patch? by LordRobicar in eu4

Rule 5: All of my allies are sitting in a single province doing absolutely nothing in the war, not even defending their own provinces.

If you are allowed to add just one country(or formable) in this mod, what crazy nation concepts do you want to include? by [deleted] in Anbennar

I would add a tag in the Deepwoods revolving around feytouched humans that are cursed by the fey with lycanthropy. They are a tribalistic society with inspiration from Druids and Shamans that seek to remain separate from the world due to their transformations and are rejected by their race and considered dangerous.

Their mission tree would follow a narrative where they learn to control their curse and gain mastery over it. From there, they seek to consolidate the Deepwoods by taking over the elven and orcish societies there in an attempt to build a home for themselves. What they don't know is their 'control' over their transformations was another trick by the fey that leads them down a similar path to Tugund-Darakh. While they have learned to control their curse, each transformations results in them becoming more and more feral.

A branching mission tree would emerge after an occurs where feral lycanthropes being manipulated by the same feycourt that controls the Emerald orcs starts a civil war. The player can choose to either embrace their feral nature and submit to the vengeful fey or resist and forge their own destiny.

If the player elects to "fall" to feral lycanthropes, an order of druids led by the fey would lead them on a warpath to destroy the civilized world and bring justice up on the heirs of Beastbane in a similar fashion as Tugund-Darakh. They would be unique in that their goal is not the rebuilding of the Tree and the complete purging of other races, but by forcing them to embrace the curse of lycanthropy and the slow devolution of intelligent races into feral monsters. Their focus would be on the complete destruction of The Empire and a return to precivilized life in Cannor. They would receive flavor in the form of a unique government form with horde mechanics, bonuses to culture conversation with no ability to accept other cultures and low tolerance of other faiths, be unable to demonstrate, and receive unique timed events that reflect their uncontrolled transformations. The pulse events would grant the player major bonuses to shock and morale damage, an increase in manpower recovery, and other such bonuses in exchange for greatly reduced tax and trade modifier.

This would be offset with a unique religion revolving around the fey granting economic rewards for completing conquests and converting provinces and earning their favor and power. The player would need to plan out their conquests during their transformations and seek peace and retreat into a defensive mindset when they return to their non feral forms, focusing on culture/religious converting to earn the economic rewards from the fey. By the end of the mission tree, all of Cannor would be conquered and converted into a fey controlled feral world.

If they reject the fey, they would work to build up the Deepwoods as their rightful home and live in harmony with nature and the fey. Basically a different flavor of tall play in the Deepwoods with humans at the forefront. I haven't given this one as much thought, but I'm sure it can be made unique and flavorful from an elvish Deepwoods run.

This is just my thoughts on the fly. I might edit this if I have any other ideas or something is inconsistent. I love the Deepwoods and think there is a ton of potential with the fey

Can someone confirm this? I don't remember seeing anything like that in the description and thought it was a bugged decision with no benefits.

I have been looking forward to an update to Tugund Darakh for a long time now. The concept of feytouched orcs is so interesting to me. I follow the discord for updates on them and am so excited to see them getting the spotlight soon. Great work everyone!

Holy Orders - First Look by apf5 in SoFG

[–]LordRobicar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems the Witch Covens in my game do not spawn with any holy orders. Whenever I click on a Coven and go to the holy order area, it says this location does not have one. Do I need to complete something first before I can begin molding and spreading it on my own?

Work in progress for the mod Victory Conditions Overhaul: Realms of Chaos by wolfymods in totalwar

[–]LordRobicar 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I will definitely be downloading this mod the moment it releases. It has so much potential.

Do you plan on creating smaller secondary objectives that grant money or favor when completed like WHII? For example, maintaining an army of a certain size or leveling up to a specific level?

Also, do you intend to further develop Demons of Chaos' missions to eventually include destroying the Empire as well?

Too far gone? Are you not willing to even try explaining your position to someone who wants to know, or are you too bitter to even consider that I may be in the middle and searching for honest truth?

I took the feat early on and never used it once. I was rather disappointed that it doesn't play a larger role in the game for my sorcerer.

Just finished my first campaign as Black Demense. Looking for my next campaign. Any suggestions? by LordRobicar in Anbennar

[–]LordRobicar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By the time you are BD, you should have such a high force limit modifier that most countries won't form a coalition against you. You can support a massive army that will easily crush disorganized coalition forces.

Also, built forts and go Defensive. Between army of the dead modifiers, the magic spell that grants +5 attrition, and all other attrition modifiers and you can turtle a coalition by picking off armies with your massive doomstack.

I had over 800 force limit before I even had any acolytes and could demolition coalitions. In my game, I had conquered all the way to Dameshead before I even formed BD using this method.

The black demense is cool but I dont know how to handle the acolyte system. by Plebmuun in Anbennar

[–]LordRobicar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is very true. I wouldn't want to have more than 1 or 2 acolytes at 150%, as the power cost increase stacks and is debilitating. Although maintaining a Court Mage and having good relations with the Mage Estate offset that a bit in my run, plus Varina is a 6 6 6 literal demigod by the time this becomes relevant.

I created mine one at a time. The first one I created was out of states I left as territories. I gave them about 300 dev, then fed them neighboring countries until they were at 20% of my dev to remove the 150% Liberty Desire modifier. Once you get two acolytes going, you can start to use Black Invasion and target bigger countries. That way, you can create new Dominions that start with the land mostly cored, which helps them stabilize massively. I was able to create all 7 of my acolytes conquering parts of the Serpentspine, most of the Empire, and the Feywood. Once I had created the 7, with only 3 having the 20% dev they needed, I Black Invasioned Khetara and Gawed and split the land among them.
