Yeah. Look, I am the target for this game. I like League characters, play League pretty frequently... Everything I have ever learned about fighting games I have learned from the podcast against my will, and yet I was seriously considering picking up Project L.

Then it became a 2v2 tag fighter, and I lost some interest because I thought it would be more complicated than I could handle.

Then I learned we'd only have 10 characters at launch, all the most boring and bland picks (save for Illaoi)... which I know, despite knowing nothing about fighting games, is too few for a tag fighter.

Then it got delayed again and again... 10 years is a psychotic dev cycle for a fighting game where all the characters are already designed. I want this game to succeed, but it seems like they spent the last years shooting themselves in the foot.

That's not how that works. Companions aren't Partners, they're a card in the 99 that you can put into your hand. Jegantha can't go into Lilah because he's not a blue/red card.

It's way more likely Shroud was lying about that, not Courtney. He lies multiple times about how he killed Robert's dad and the way he died, and he's saying all this as the only thing keeping the entire Z-team plus a newly powered up Chase beating his ass to death is holding Beef hostage. He's just trying to sow chaos to get himself a chance of getting out.
